Since this has a citrus smell, does it help keep the bugs away too in the summer time?

This spray is formulated with; Water (Aqua), SD Alcohol 40-B (Alcohol Denat.), PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Fragrance (Parfum), Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Laueth Sulfate, Cocamidoproyl Betaine, DMDM Hydantoin, Limonene, Linalool, Citral.
Is this safe for use around cats? Not on cats as the instructions intend it to be used on dogs, but around where cats live and on their bedding, etc?

This spray is safe to use around cats. It should not bed used on cats.
What if she licks it ?

We recommend discouraging your pet from licking their coat for a few minutes after applying Replascent. Licking a couple times shouldn’t be problematic. Don’t drench the coat, just mist lightly from 10 inches or so above your pet and let the product fall onto the coat. If your pet compulsively licks their coat after application and cannot be discouraged, we recommend that you spray in areas they cannot reach with their tongue or do not use directly on that particular pet, but instead spray onto their bed and let it dry.

Bad packaging

The nozzle broke on the second use. Had to buy another spray bottle to put it in. Smells good though.

Terrible Nozzle

I like the smell of the product, but the nozzle is terrible. I am 0 for 3 on a nozzle lasting until the bottle is empty. There is a small tube that goes into where the liquid sprays out of. This tube has fallen out of every bottle I have used. If it is lost or broken, you can no longer spray. On one bottle I was unable to reattach the tube, on the next 2 bottles, the tubes eventually broke after having to be reattached so many times. I now have 2 un - useable bottles. Will open a new one hoping the bottle will last, and I can eventually pour the leftovers of the other 2 bottles into it.

Love all isle of dogs products

You really cannot go wrong with any isle of dogs products! I have Bull Terriers who have and are prone to very sensitive skin and drying. These products have all worked wonderfully for them and the scents are great!

Pleasant sweet scent, slightly tacky residue

Smells like sugared citrus! Pleasant, and lasts for a couple days. I sprayed it on my corgi after a bath and blow dry, it leaves a slightly tacky residue. Not exactly what I want after achieving a smooth silky clean. Best to use in between baths to freshen up, and not after baths.

Awesome Freshening

This spray is hands-down my favorite one to use. It smells nice, is light, isn't overpowering, and lasts a long time. It's not super girly or overwhelmingly fruity like grapefruit can sometimes be.

Wonderful scent

Great on your pet as well as their bed. I thought I would try it and I’m glad I did. Plus the time to get to my house was remarkable. I definitely will get this item again for future use.

Great product

I have a 15 year old incontinent Lab, and he wears diapers. Although I clean him daily (or more), urine odor can linger. This spray neutralizes that smell but it not overwhelming. I really like it.

A Wonderful Product!

I bought this on a whim instead of the usual cologne I buy since this one was on sale for a cheaper price than my usual one, and I will continue to buy this one instead! It's a sweet but tart smell (and it smells exactly like a heavily sugared grapefruit slice) that's heavily scented but not too strong. I can definitely smell it on my dog when she's close to me but it's not strong enough to be irritating. Product has a little lock for the spritzer nozzle and it didn't leak at all during shipping! I absolutely love this product and I'm so glad I took a chance with it!
