First the pros: this is a very well-made, seemingly high quality backpack. The bottom has a nice, comfy base, which seems cushy and soft. The side zippers are a nice touch, if you don’t want to lift and put your pup in from the top. The waist strap is a lifesaver and makes carrying my 20-lb mini cockapoo much, much easier. Unfortunately, despite measuring over and over again (this is in addition to comparing about 4 other backpacks at the same time), the measurements are off and my pup’s whole head sticks out the top. He is not comfortable enough to lie down on the bottom, so he wants to sit up, but I sometimes would need him enclosed. So, unfortunately, this doesn’t work for us. Lastly, the internal tether is kind of flimsy and I would be really worried that it could easily break.

Lots of access points and very comfortable to carry

Love this pet backpack. We use it for our kitten and it works so well. I love the tie in for security and all the access points are very convenient. It's comfortable

Love this pet backpack. We use it for our kitten and it works so well. I love the tie in for security and all the access points are very convenient. It's comfortable to carry and easier to maneuver than a traditional carrier. The strap in the back to secure a seat belt is also very nice for car rides. It seems we'll thought out and attractive overall. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy to use

Grace HATES leaving the house and at times I could not get her into the carrier. So when we needed to change vets I was grateful to find a well-recommended one

Grace HATES leaving the house and at times I could not get her into the carrier. So when we needed to change vets I was grateful to find a well-recommended one that after our first visit I knew was a good match in walking distance. This carrier is less stressful for both of us and while she will always be a reluctant traveler this is good sturdy way for me to walk her to the vet.

I have started traveling more with Moose, my 1 year old siamese cat, and he is very comfortable in this backpack! We've done roadtrips, beaches, parks, flights, and trips to the store with it. Sometimes he even likes to lay in it at home. Its easy to keep clean although I do wish it had more storage/pockets!

She seemed way more comfortable and secure inside it. A dog barking in the distance didn’t even phase her. The backpack materials and design seem high quality and have a nice finished look. We liked the different options to open the top/side and the fact that it has a clip inside to keep her secure

I love this backpack and think it is well-made and well-thought out. My cat is not deterred, the way he can sometimes be with a hard carrier, and I can hold a number

I love this backpack and think it is well-made and well-thought out. My cat is not deterred, the way he can sometimes be with a hard carrier, and I can hold a number of items in the bag. However, my cat is 15 lbs and my cat can only stand in it. It's not quite roomy enough for him to sit, but I can understand, because 15 lbs is quite big for a cat. He's also tall.
