I flew with my 8lb Chiweenie in this bag and it was perfect. I was a little nervous because it’s a tad bigger than some other bags but it fit perfectly under the seat. The bag is just deep enough for him to curl up when used as a backpack and tall enough for him to stand when it’s in its side. I know some airlines are more strict about size, but it was perfect in my experience.

I got this for my kitten (currently 5 months old) and she fits perfectly. Not sure how it’ll stand as she gets bigger but for rn it’s great. I can wear it on my back and she stays upright, only thing- I wish it had a second handle so i could hold the handles like a purse and she’d still stay upright. The pockets are great for her medical records and stool samples (when bringing her to the vet). Color is fine ig, we would’ve preferred pink

This is a nice pet carrier but buyers beware this product has a proposition 65 cancer warning. This was not mentioned anywhere in the item description and the only reason I did not return it is because I needed to use this right away. I had no time to look for a different carrier. I'm a little disappointed with chewy for not being upfront with this warning. Had I seen it was cancer causing I definitely would not have bought.

First the pros: this is a very well-made, seemingly high quality backpack. The bottom has a nice, comfy base, which seems cushy and soft. The side zippers are a nice touch, if you don’t want to lift and put your pup in from the top. The waist strap is a lifesaver and makes carrying my 20-lb mini cockapoo much, much easier. Unfortunately, despite measuring over and over again (this is in addition to comparing about 4 other backpacks at the same time), the measurements are off and my pup’s whole head sticks out the top. He is not comfortable enough to lie down on the bottom, so he wants to sit up, but I sometimes would need him enclosed. So, unfortunately, this doesn’t work for us. Lastly, the internal tether is kind of flimsy and I would be really worried that it could easily break.

Mesh is easily torn

This was a replacement for the first one I ordered which had a gap in the mesh at a seam. We put Acorn in the new one to transport to our new home. Within 5 minutes

This was a replacement for the first one I ordered which had a gap in the mesh at a seam. We put Acorn in the new one to transport to our new home. Within 5 minutes she had clawed a hole in the mesh. See photo. She had to share a carrier with her brother for the 6 hour drive.
