This booster seat is designed to be raised to allow your pet to enjoy the views. However, it does feature two adjustable straps in the seat back and headrest to keep your pup in place and to lower or raise the height.

Booster seat for view out of car

Every time I put it up high enough for her to see out of the side window the front collapsed and she fell out, still attached with her harness to the seat’s safety

Every time I put it up high enough for her to see out of the side window the front collapsed and she fell out, still attached with her harness to the seat’s safety belt. I ended up putting a box underneath it to get it to the correct height without the sides collapsing. If I’m doing something wrong I’d be delighted to know but this is the second booster seat I’ve had for her - the first gave up from old age - and I did NOT have this problem with the first seat.

Flimsy

The item doesn't stay in place. It tilts and makes the dog have to sit on a slant. Something needs to be placed under the box, but it still tilts and moves.

Cheap build quality. Broke in a week

At least chewy refunded the purchase price. The hooks are weak and the overall construction is extremely cheap.

I was looking for a car seat that was strapped to the seat in two places beside the seat belt. This one can be adjusted higher or lower. We went with lower as she is not interested in looking outside, maybe when she gets more miles in. I like the weight of the fabrics used, I didn’t want to much furry fabric as it gets to warm, if need during a Florida winter I can add a doggy blanket. I have to admit that when Lucy is not with me driving, the dog car seat is a perfect place for my purse to seat. Very nice car seat, just what I was looking for.

Not a fan

I find this is too small for my dog. He looks uncomfortable in it. Also. For it to be supported this strap has to go around the seat. My car doesn’t have a separation

I find this is too small for my dog. He looks uncomfortable in it. Also. For it to be supported this strap has to go around the seat. My car doesn’t have a separation for the seat and the strap isn’t big enough. So the seat hangs low and my dog can’t see out the window as intended

This works well for my 16-pound Pom. She likes to sightsee when riding, and this booster seat puts her at the right height, plus I feel she is safer when I have to make quick stops. I like that it attaches to the seatbelt, and there is a tether in the seat to keep her from getting loose in the car.
