  • Great Strong Ball

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My dog loves this ball now, however, I actually had to teach her how to play with it since it is so big and so different than her other balls and toys. She didn't quite know what to do with it outside, so I had to play with her and the ball in the family room for a day. Then we took it outside again and she really enjoyed it. It is strong because she has only left some teeth marks on it, but the ball is hard and strong and did not get holes in it.

  • Love a jolly ball

My pit bull has destroyed pretty much everything he has gotten his mouth around and he chewed the handle right off of his jolly ball, too. BUT he is still able to play with it. Unlike soccer balls and basketballs which deflate, this ball is made to pop back out and keep rolling. We also tried the Varsity ball but since it is hard solid plastic with no way for a dog to bite or grip, Charlie was easily frustrated with it. Varsity balls are for "herders" and were tested on large cats (as in lions - I donated mine to a local rescue organization). • Great product

I needed something for my granddog to do when he was outside in his fenced yard other than chewing up plastic buckets and other things that are not appropriate. He loves balls but obviously they don't remain balls for too long. I thought of this and looked online and found chewy.com. Although he does have some teeth Groove marks in the Ball it is indestructible. He has a blast pushing it around and trying to pop it. And I have blast watching him. If you have a dog that likes to chew things up this is a great choice.

  • Ball- but not what you think.

I searched for a soccer ball, as my dog LOVES soccer, but always manages to puncture a hole in the ball, and this popped up. I bought it and quickly realized this is not your ordinary ball. You cannot kick it. You can kind of push it around with your feet but it will definitely hurt your toe if you kick. Also you cannot kick it into the dog or it will hurt the dog. With all of that said, it continuously rolls and since it is hard, the dog cannot bite into it, which keeps him busy trying to. I like this ball. I accidentally ordered the huge 14" and I thought it would be too big but my dog still likes it. The ball is hard plastic but light and hollow. • Favorite toy

Bought this for my sisters new Bernese. She loves it. A friend had one for her 2 dogs and I knew how much they played with it. I chose blue because I understand dogs can see only blue and yellow.

  • Not for power dogs

Thought this would be great for my power chewer.. Because of the size...I was wrong. He put a hole in it in less than a week. Great toy for normal dogs. Lol

  • Kids loved it, Dog left it

Adopted 2 yr old GSD, active, energetic, fun. Hoped the ball would give her some fun but she won't touch it. High quality product though, hoping to gift it to a dog that will play with it.

  • Indestructable

    By on

Perfect ball for a bigger animal. I have a 1&1/2 year old rottweiler puppy who loves this toy. Rottweilers were bred as herding dogs and mine must have it in her d.n.a. because she rounds that ball up into circles and lets her instincts take over. Hours & hours of play time and the ball just keeps coming back for more. I got the idea from my daughter who has a German shepherd that tries it's hardest to destroy this ball but no can do. Great product for the price. You will be very happy with your purchase and your dogs will absolutely love you more for getting them this product.

  • Too hard to play with

The site said it was rubber. Reviews said it was hard like plastic, but I thought I would give it a try. Trixie has destroyed all her other balls. A rubber, non destructible ball sounded great. Found it was too good to be true. The first time she ran into the ball, she had a look of shock on her face that something had hurt her. She's a plotthound and about 70 lbs. I rolled it to her again and it barely ran into her. She didn't like it at all. It now sits in our yard. I gave her a foam soccer ball and she loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't know it wasn't all foam. She popped it of course. Why can't someone make an all foam or rubber ball in a a 12-14" diameter? If it is out there, I haven't found it. Of course, I expect it will be chewed up, but it will still last longer. Her soccer ball was missing some chunks, she didn't eat it, but it was still a round ball til punctured. … more
