  • Too hard to play with

The site said it was rubber. Reviews said it was hard like plastic, but I thought I would give it a try. Trixie has destroyed all her other balls. A rubber, non destructible ball sounded great. Found it was too good to be true. The first time she ran into the ball, she had a look of shock on her face that something had hurt her. She's a plotthound and about 70 lbs. I rolled it to her again and it barely ran into her. She didn't like it at all. It now sits in our yard. I gave her a foam soccer ball and she loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't know it wasn't all foam. She popped it of course. Why can't someone make an all foam or rubber ball in a a 12-14" diameter? If it is out there, I haven't found it. Of course, I expect it will be chewed up, but it will still last longer. Her soccer ball was missing some chunks, she didn't eat it, but it was still a round ball til punctured. … more

  • Love a jolly ball

My pit bull has destroyed pretty much everything he has gotten his mouth around and he chewed the handle right off of his jolly ball, too. BUT he is still able to play with it. Unlike soccer balls and basketballs which deflate, this ball is made to pop back out and keep rolling. We also tried the Varsity ball but since it is hard solid plastic with no way for a dog to bite or grip, Charlie was easily frustrated with it. Varsity balls are for "herders" and were tested on large cats (as in lions - I donated mine to a local rescue organization). Jolly balls are not completely indestructible (like I said, Charlie chewed the handle off of his) but he is still playing with it after several months so My pit bull has destroyed pretty much everything he has gotten his mouth around and he chewed the handle right off of his jolly ball, too. • Ball- but not what you think.

I searched for a soccer ball, as my dog LOVES soccer, but always manages to puncture a hole in the ball, and this popped up. I bought it and quickly realized this is not your ordinary ball. You cannot kick it. You can kind of push it around with your feet but it will definitely hurt your toe if you kick. Also you cannot kick it into the dog or it will hurt the dog. With all of that said, it continuously rolls and since it is hard, the dog cannot bite into it, which keeps him busy trying to. I like this ball. I accidentally ordered the huge 14" and I thought it would be too big but my dog still likes it. The ball is hard plastic but light and hollow. • Amazing toy! Indestructible!

    By on

I bought two of these after my two dogs figured out how to destroy every other toy I bought them. They haven't been able to even dent these. I drilled a hole in one of them and suspended it across the yard with a steel cable. It's now basically a "tetherball" toy that they chase and jump at until they are tired. It's obviously an "outdoor" toy only.. but we'll worth the investment.. I have a 45 lb bulldog mix and a 60 lb boxer/staffy mix... And both LOVE the toy.. either on the ground, or hanging in the air. Five star toy. As advertised. Indestructible!

  • Indestructable

Perfect ball for a bigger animal. I have a 1&1/2 year old rottweiler puppy who loves this toy. Rottweilers were bred as herding dogs and mine must have it in her d.n.a. because she rounds that ball up into circles and lets her instincts take over. Hours & hours of play time and the ball just keeps coming back for more. I got the idea from my daughter who has a German shepherd that tries it's hardest to destroy this ball but no can do. Great product for the price. You will be very happy with your purchase and your dogs will absolutely love you more for getting them this product.

  • FINALLY something they can't puncture!

    By on

We played with this ball when we visited America's only campground "for dogs" and their people. Our dogs (a chocolate lab & a blue heeler) loved it! I tracked it down here and it's been their favorite toy since we opened the box. They run and run and run to chase it! The ball is too sturdy for them to pop. And that's saying a lot. We love to play with them with it. Will be getting one to keep in our RV so it will be there as we travel. If yours is a big-chewer dog, you will be amazed with this big, indestructible ball. Fun for all sizes and great exercise!

  • Doggie Barker Blast

    By on

This is a huge ball that rolls better than throwing and is made of hard plastic and floats. When it was presented and still to this day it's a Barker Blast for my Shepinois. She barks at it as she rolls it with her nose and pushes it with her paws. Keeps her entertained till enough play is enough. We love our Jolly Ball it's a Blast of entertainment.

  • Best toy ever

    By on

Our 2 year old Australian shepard gets bored quickly. If she is not busy she isn't happy. We purchased this ball for her and she loves it. She has never barked at a toy but she barks at this one. She pushes that ball all over the yard and actually tires herself out. It is a ball watching her herd it all over and learning to control it. Thank you

  • Heavy duty big ball

    By on

The ball is made nicely but I didn't realize it was made of hard plastic and thought it was rubber like the tug and toss and ball which we love! Hopefully when our Great Pyrenees puppy gets bigger she will play with it but was just too hard and heavy. But again made well just not what I thought it was! But I love Jolly Ball pet products!

  • What a great toy

This ball is something your dog will enjoy for a long time. We have a Chocolate Lab Puppy and she popped the first ball I bought in one day but she loves to chase this ball and climb on top of it. Bites on it all the time and it barely shows any scratches.
