This is supposed to be an intermediate puzzle toy. And to be fair I’m pretty sure my Doberman is an evil genius. I bought this at the end of a two week stretch of torrential rain needed to give my guy who has the spirit of a chaos demon already inside of him a little extra mental stimulation when mom just can’t be out in the rain training or doing 3 mile hikes on trails that had become rivers. So I put his kibble portion of dinner in there. Now we have a slow feeder for brekkys and typically do hide and seek for a portion of dinner. So he’s smart. Used to working for his dinner. We’ve done multiple puzzle boxes and the terrorist literally figures out how to smash them against something to knock compartments open. I’ll give it to this design. He hasn’t figured out how to do that with this one. However. With the three layers filled. It took him under 2 min to finish. so I thought. Sure ok that was too easy. I’ll do less. Just a few pieces on each level. Nope. This member of Mensa had it emptied again in under a minute flat. So, it’s a good design, durable, swivels nicely, each pocket fits a piece of his extra grande kibble but maybe for a slightly dimmer light bulb. God speed to all those dog owners out there fighting for our lives through less than ideal weather and the demands of our four legged Mussolinis

I got this for my large doggo who tends to eat too fast. Tried the tennis ball trick, and that didn't work, so I figured it was time for a bowl. He's going to be 14 this year, and he has enough digestive issues without inhaling his food. He solved the spinning puzzle very quickly (he knew there were still crumbs hiding in those layers). Does it help him chew his food? Absolutely not, but he inhales it slower. Did I misjudge the size I needed? Absolutely, it just BARELY holds his full food serving. He's not very active at his age, and he isn't much of a "toy" dog, so this helps work his brain while helping with his tummy issues.

Great slow feeder

My dog loves it and picked it up really fast because he is food motivated. It's also beneficial because he starts turning the discs whenever he is hungry as a reminder

Great for slower feeding

I like that this fits 2 cups of kibble and definitely slows down my dog's eating. It's not very challenging for her, so less mental stimulation than some other puzzle

Really nice challenge

This puzzle is level 2 and pretty easy. However, the little pockets each hold one kibble and it takes a bit of time and effort to get them all.
