My 6yr old APBT can destroy anything in under 2 min. We've literally spent hundreds of dollars on every toy you can think of both in store, online and thru the mail, every result is the same, under 2 min its in pieces. I purchased the Jolly tire and it took him 2 days to start getting pieces off the handle , the tire still lives but now he knows the hack. So I ordered this one. We've had this a little over a week and he's chewed on it for at least 2 hours every day and today was the first piece he managed to get off I call that a success in my book. This bone is VERY durable and even though he has penetrated it, I would HIGHLY recommend this toy to any Pitbull parent looking for something to study your little mini shark. I think this will last about 2 weeks..I know that doesn't sound like a lot but in the world of a serious chewer you take the wins when you get them. Otherwise I'm going to buy a lawnmower tire that's where we're at. Thanks for a very durable, tough toy.
Bought this toy for Christmas and it is now Mid April. The toy is still intact despite having only some chew marks on the ends. My 4 German shepherds haven’t been able to destroy it so I would say it is very durable! This is definitely one of their favorite toys to play with as well :D
Our two dogs are very active and it is hard to find toys that they won't destroy immediately. This bone has survived the rough play and tug of war for close to a month and shows minimal wear. I highly recommend it to anyone with aggressive chewers like bulldogs.
Worth buying. My dogs love the vanilla scent, and usually destroy toys but these last for a long time. We also love the smaller blue option, we wish it was an option.
We've had this toy for a couple of weeks. It has held up with both our dogs pretty well!
a good bone is a perfect pacifier for our girl. However, once in a while she likes to throw them up in the air, and the bones make quite a bang when they hit the wood floors. This Jolly Bone is a perfect solution. She loves chewing on it - gives her a real work out. We love that when she is in the mood to throw it, it bounces instead of crashing. She took to this right away, using it to chew, but will also bring it to use for a tug of war game. Probably going to get a couple more of these so they are readily available around the house and yard.
Got this for my dog, who can easily go through a dozen toys in five minutes, and so far it's holding up. Mostly at least. He has managed to rip small hunks out, but it is otherwise whole. He absolutely loves it and I will get another in the future
Only gave it to him today, we played in the yard with the Jolly bone and Chuck It flying squirrel. It smells sweet, and it's rubbery and a little flexible. Six month old lab mix dog likes it so far, but it's the newest toy, so time will tell if it stays popular.
We own an older red Jolly bone that my dog had finally broken little bits off. I ordered this new one which is slightly bigger and has a fresh mint smell. Maybe I missed it in the description, but I was surprised by the odor. Not sure I would order again because of the flavoring/odor.
My 10month old APBT has chewed on this plenty of times, yet it only has a couple of indents. Nothing serious. Better quality than other toys in this price range. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is because he lost interest in it really quick. Maybe because he can’t destroy it? Ha!
