Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
CHASE: Sure to give your dog a run for his money
TUG: Playing tug-of-war helps your dog relieve stress

My puppy's #1 favorite toy! I bought it years ago for my previous dog, but the rope wore out, so I restrung it with a 6-ft. plastic rope from the hardware store. Now it bounces behind my new (1+ y.o.) puppy without banging her hind legs, although it bangs on other obstacles. She doesn't care. She drags it around the yard and loves to play tug with me. I recently bought a new ball for when the original wears out.
We had the regular Jolly Ball toy and had to add this to the collection! I do prefer the rope as it easier to not get my hands covered in drool and dirt like the original Jolly Ball. For power chewers or dogs that are left alone with this toy, I do not see it holding up as the ball is quite flexible and especially rope being easy to shred. All in all the toy is great for regular tug okay and short training!
It "fell apart" into two pieces on the first day as the knots were not big enough to prevent the rope from pulling through the ball and the rope was too short to make the knots bigger, so we ended up with two separate play things: a ball and a rope. The rope is also not long enough for a good tug-of-war, but it can be used as a fetch toy as can the ball.
We've been through several of these balls. My German Shepherd chews on them diligently. I like them because they are easier to throw with the rope. I'm going to order smaller sizes for him next time up because he's getting older and is slowing down.
This is our second Romp-n-Roll dog toy and our dogs, 6 in all, love it!! The rope didn't last too long before it was torn out of the ball thru tough chewers and tug of war. The ball itself lasted 3 or 4 years now. It is a favorite and was looking rough so we got a new one. Well worth the money!! It stands up to big chewers and hours of fun.
My pup loves playing with this ball!! Wants to play tug of war, or happily plays by himself with it! We had to make an outside toy because he can really whip it around!! This is my second one for him.
This is the 2nd jolly ball we've bought our golden retriever, not because the other was broken but just so he had another one. He has so much fun swinging it around and absolutely loves it! The rope gets a little frayed but I trim it with scissors as needed, and I always make sure I watch him while he plays so he doesn't try to chew/eat the rope.
I have a 98lb Chesapeake who is particular about his swim toys. I needed something on a rope that could be seen in the bay when the water was choppy. This ball did that job but was a little too big to fit in his mouth without allowing a lot of water into his mouth while retrieving the ball. I'd love it in a smaller size, say 2 to 3 inches. Qualityis good, only complaint is the sie.
My 4 month old GS puppy loves this so much she carries it up the stairs, and into the house no matter how many times I toss it back out side. I swear she is going to knock herself out the amount of times she swings it around. I love it because when I play tug-of -war with her my hand is safely behind that ball. One of her new favorites to play with. Though I wish she would keep it outside.
My energetic cow doggie loved his old "run-run-run ball" which he has literally chewed to almost nothing, and so I had hoped that he would love his new one. However, it seems to be heavier than the first one, and he isn't as enthusiastic about it. He prefers, still, the 1/3 left of the his first ball. I may need to order the next size down for him to really get the same satisfaction as he got with the first one.
