I really appreciate the quality of the packing the texture and freshness of the food. I love that you can store it. It has a shelf life, which is very important for areas that are hit by storms and often we do not have delivery or can go out and get And replenish food for our pets.. my Mia really enjoys all the options. She especially loves the turkey. I’m able to offer her a variety throughout the week and the packages arevery portable.

Loves the beef

Unfortunately I realized after ordering this that my picky girl is allergic to chicken. She does love the beef and potatoes though. She had decided she was no longer interested in the food that I had been feeding her. So while I was waiting on my order of this Just Food for Dogs order I boiled a chicken breast, carrots and green beans and she ate this for a few days. After one meal of this she started scratching like crazy. I initially I thought it was a seasonal itchiness but it stopped when I stopped feeding the chicken. So it became clear that she is allergic to chicken. I plan to donate the chicken JFFD and put in another order for the beef and potatoes. I will also have to donate the royal Canin Chihuahua since chicken is one of the main ingredients. At least now I know she is allergic to chicken. I'm also going to try both the pork and the lamb to see if she likes them as much as the beef. She now gets excited when it is mealtime. She licks her bowl clean when I feed her thebeef snd potatoes version of Just Food for Dogs.

He wouldn’t touch it.

My two dogs go crazy for this food! From the moment I open the package they are by my side (along with the cat) begging for their meal. I was impressed with the ingredients compared to other dog food. This food didn’t upset my dogs’ tummy and didn’t make them gassy which was my biggest concern trying something new. My one slight “issue” is the smell of this food is very pungent and completely fills the house as soon as it’s opened. On the other hand I think the smell is one of my dogs’ favorite parts! Overall I am pleased with this brand of food.

My dog really enjoyed this food, but it smells just as bad as cheap canned food. I was hoping for something better from "human grade ingredients." Another concern for me is the calorie density. According to the package, my dog only needs one box of this food per day, but the volume of food I would feed her is only about half the volume compared to her usual kibble plus home-cooked food. She didn't seem satisfied after each meal on this food - kept pestering me and going back to check her bowl for more, acting very much like I do when I eat a meal that just doesn't fill up my tummy.
