I see it is made in USA but where do the ingredients come from?

Justfoodfordogs source their products from local, and nationwide vendors depending on market availability. They do not source their proteins, grains, legumes, fruits or vegetables internationally.
Can this be kept in the freezer

The easiest way to feed fresh is to get into a cycle of freezer to refrigerator to bowl. Remove the package from the freezer and defrost in the refrigerator (preferred), or immerse in cold water. Store in the refrigerator in a glass or plastic container and then serve the recommended amount. JustFoodForDogs lasts for a year when frozen.

Dancing for dinner

My 1 year old Doxie absolutely loves these meals. She starts dancing as soon as she sees the box. They are a little pricey but the quality is great. My dog weighs 15 pounds and I mix this with her Doxie kibbles, which she will not eat by themselves, and am able to get 4 days of meals per box which helps the budget. If I was not mixing in the kibble I would get 2 days of meals per box.

Good but Expensive

I have a VERY picky dog and I'm always trying different things to mix into his kibble. He wasn't a fan of most of the frozen flavors of this food, but for whatever reason he actually likes the pantry stable versions. I think it's because these have a more blended, mushier texture (he is weird and doesn't like noodles or pieces of vegetables) so this being an almost chunky pate texture worked better for him. But it is very expensive for what you get. I'll only buy it again when there is a deal.

messy foods

My toy poodle just loves the "Just for dogs" frozen and pantry foods but I really hate to give it to him because lately it creates a mess when he eats it. It is so dry and almost like "pate" that it gets all over and I have to keep gathering it up to either pitch or if on a pad put back in bowl. The fish one is even worse, very wet and pasty. Seems like for the high price it could be better and more chunky.

Had high hopes but..

I had really high hopes for this fresh dog food after reading all the reviews. My dog absolutely hated this. Does not have great smell and does not look appetizing at all. I had to take small portions and make it into a ball shape and feed it to him just so he would. He is usually not too picky with food but this was one of the difficult ones.

worst food I’ve ever bought

This made my dogs vomit like crazy. One dog had really bad diarrhea the day I started this food and is still throwing up 1.5 weeks after I switched him back to his old food. The other dog is holding up better but has thrown up twice. The macaroni recipe looks nothing like the photo and is 90% macaroni. The box packaging is horrible, super hard to get the food out and hard to open/close. Lastly, it’s expensive and I’m glad this was on sale when I got it. This isn’t the first thing I’ve tried from this brand and I don’t recommend this brand at all.

Thank you overdue

Long over due thank you for the flowers sent to me in memory of my dog Fritz. I have been meaning to thank you not only for the flowers but also for the wonderful service you provide. Deliver is always quick and one stop shopping for my chickens cats dog and pond fish and parrots make it so much easier than store shopping. THANKS SO MUCH still missing FRITZ

Ginger's favorite

Ginger has a sensitive G.I. tract, and we have been looking for just the right food that she will both like and will work well for her. JustFoodForDogs is perfect in both areas. She loves it and tolerates it well.

To dogs what Coca-cola was to humans

My dog literally leaps from his chair in the morning to run downstairs and bark for his breakfast. He is a 13yrs old shih-tzu that is half-blind literally has one eye half-deaf can not seem to pinpoint sound. He is so excited for this food.

Healthy Meal

This dog food was fresh and I liked that it did not have to be refrigerate it until after it was opened. Now I have a picky eater, so this was the logical one to purchase. She like the chicken the best.

Just food for dogs

My dog liked the food fairly well. I find it very pricey and am glad I was able to get it on a 1/2 price deal. The food is also very hard to get out of the shelf stable container. It sticks to the inside of the box and makes it hard to get it all out.
