Justfoodfordogs source their products from local, and nationwide vendors depending on market availability. They do not source their proteins, grains, legumes, fruits or vegetables internationally.

Can this be kept in the freezer

The easiest way to feed fresh is to get into a cycle of freezer to refrigerator to bowl. Remove the package from the freezer and defrost in the refrigerator (preferred), or immerse in cold water. Store in the refrigerator in a glass or plastic container and then serve the recommended amount. JustFoodForDogs lasts for a year when frozen.

All dogs deserve a well balanced wholefood diet

I normally make homemade wholefood diet for my girls, but sometimes if I am traveling or get too busy, I use these ones as back up options which are the closest

With the word fresh i was expecting that especially with the price. It looks and smells like canned dog food. Definitely not what I expected.

I tried this food to entice my dog to eat as she went through a round of antibiotics for tick bourne illness. The antibiotics always make her feel nauseous and then she doesn't want to eat which makes her more nauseous when she gets the meds. I wanted to try the multipack so we had the option to switch flavors to keep it interesting. Because it was an additive and not used as a full meal she only got 1/3 container per meal. She would eat a decent portion of it before leaving the rest. We couldn't use the beef due to allergies. She seemed to like the chicken &lamb the best. The humans thought the turkey & macaroni concoction looked especially good.

Human Grade Food For Dogs is For Real

I received the multi-pack to “try out” on my two dogs who have always been really picky eaters I was thrilled! They both prefer this type of food so I knew it would

I received the multi-pack to “try out” on my two dogs who have always been really picky eaters I was thrilled! They both prefer this type of food so I knew it would be a welcome change and a definite 5 stars for them. If it’s something they don’t like; you definitely know within the first few seconds because they’ll either snub their nose at it and look at you like you e lost your mind feeding them something like “that” or they dig in and eat it all wishing 2.3 seconds and ask for more. When you first open it you need to stir it up; which is fine. This food literally looks like human food, and is pretty close to the smell as well. It comes in a carton and is easy to open, as well as dispense into their bowls. And when you’re finished with the carton, you can throw away or rinse it out and toss into the recycling bin. I would definitely purchase this for my dog in the future. I tested it on two dogs but one has since passed away, and I just have the Nova Scotia Duck Paddling Retriever left to try and please. He only eats once per day; at night around 7:30 PM CST. I cannot speak to how well this would budget out if you have to purchase it, but for reference both of my dogs are in the medium to large category (the American Bully weighed 100 pounds and the Duck Paddling Retriever weighs around 43 pounds) The directions say to feed half in the morning and half at night; but since mine only eat once they received the entire box in the evening. It was just the right amount and they definitely were excited the next evening when they saw me grabbing the carton out of the pantry. So for all of you with picky eaters out there and whose dogs think they are basically human this “human grade dog food” is definitely for them and you!
