looks like my dog puked
Bought to try to see it my doggies would eat it NOPE When I opened it first thing I noticed is that it looked like puke. NOTHIN AT ALL as pictured but most things are not duh but a waste of money. For the price of this you can get fresh pet. This food says each carton (we got the 6 pack) will feed a dog that weighs 25lb per day one carton each day so it’s really gonna cost over $80 a week for this. I’m glad I didn’t was money paying full price it was a promotion half off the first order I paid around $25 what a waste. Wish I took photos of my doggies face when I put that down it was like ummm what’s this? Ewww no I will stick with fresh pet vital
Dogs devoured all the flavors!
I have a long haired chihuahua, Australian shepherd, and golden doodle. All three of my dogs LOVED this food! We tried the chicken and rice, beef and potatoes, and Turkey with macaroni. Their favorite appears to be the beef. My chihuahua has a sensitive stomach and this didn’t seem to upset him. They licked the plate clean every time ! I’ll definitely be keeping some of these meals in the pantry to supplement their normal kibble routine.

I ordered your sample package for my 2-year-old German Shepherd. She was not interested in it right away but she ate it. The packaging was nice but i didn't realize that it wasn't even a serving for nutritional value for an 85 pound dog. It is quite pricey for what it is. I used it as a topper and then she wouldn't eat her kibble when I mixed it. Guess she's just picky. She eats just about everything else that's natural and or raw. Just thought I'd share not bashing your product.
Real Food, Convenient cartons
I received the JustFoodForDogs Pantry Fresh Beef, Chicken, and Turkey variety pack as samples. My 17# pup isn't a picky eater and he was interested in all the flavors. He didn't have any tummy issues as we used them as toppers to his kibble then increased the amounts. You could see the real ingredients in each variety, but they are definitely too carb heavy for our liking. Convenient cartons--nice to have on hand in the pantry for emergencies like earthquakes or for traveling (except they do need to be refrigerated once opened)...so they are not quite different from canned foods. Overall price is a bit high for something you can easily prepare on your own or with their kit/instructions--worth it for the time-savings. Consider exploring some other fresh foods brands to get more bang for your buck and food for your pup.
Healthy Meal
First of all, I would like to say that I have three rescue senior pugs that are the pickiest eaters. The chicken and white rice was their favorite. They love it at room temperature, not cold or hot. The turkey and macaroni, they were not to thrilled about, they tasted it but not really wanting to eat it. To me, it seems that it was to mushy; almost like it was blended. And the last one, the beef and potatoes, was a hit as well. But the same thing, they prefer it at room temperature. I refrigerate them, then take it out and let it sit. I tried all of them for breakfast and dinner and they seem to like it during both times. I highly recommend the chicken and white rice and beef and potatoes. The nutritional values are very good as well, especially for my senior pugs.
THIS PRODUCT IS A MUST ON MY DOGS DIET
I have two morkiepoos and they LOVED this product, I realized that chicken and beef one were their favorite. They will eat the turkey one too but I saw more excitement with the other flavors. I would deff recommend this product. I usually combine it with kibble. Ive used other brands in the past and my dogs get excited the first days about it but then they wont eat it anymore. that dindnt happen with this one! I was surprised and im happy i found a new product my dogs love!
Love it
I received a free sample for my honest review. I love the packaging. I really like that this is in cartons. I took these with me when traveling. My dog loves this food. I love that it is real food. He eats all of the food. He has a tendency to pick pieces out, but not with any of these. He likes all of the flavors. I would recommend this. It is a great food product.
Dog approved!
I received this food as part of a free sample program and I'm so happy that I did. My dog can be a bit of a picky eater but she loved every variety and I loved the healthy ingredients. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the cost. I have a large dog and, while I would definitely supplement her diet with this food, the expense would definitely keep me from switching to feeding her this food exclusively
Food looks great but was a fail for THE pickiest pup EVER
I had high hopes for this before buying and even more so after getting & opening. It does not look or smell like typical dog food - it's looks and smells a lot more appetizing, which is what earned the 3 stars; however Mia was not the least bit interested. I think I was more so than her. Because I could even get her to lick the gravy off my finger I just can't give it 5 stars, but it does appear to be a good product.
Ok but
Hard to open, miss spoiled brat doesn’t really like it. It’s too gooey no chunks of meat or vegetables. It’s all mashed together. If your dog likes that it’s good it smells good just not for us.
