My Rebel is allergic to corn and chicken, with a sensitive GI as well. So while everyone else was getting thanksgiving turkey, I needed something for him. After almost dying I'm not willing to chance any kind of poultry with him. This fit the bill perfectly. It smelled horrible, when I warmed it up it smelled worse, and he said it smelled like manna from the Gods. I have never seen any dog inhale anything like he inhaled that food. Definitely a winner!

My dogs gobble this food up!

I know my dogs are receiving the nutrition they need and deserve by feeding them Orijen! I feed them well, and they eat before I do, because they depend on me!

I know my dogs are receiving the nutrition they need and deserve by feeding them Orijen! I feed them well, and they eat before I do, because they depend on me! They provide unconditional love, and loyalty, and that is a LOT more than I get from most people. I’m just being honest! Thank you, Gracious Heavenly Father, for each and every little soul that my life has been enriched because of! Rescue and adoption has been my ENTIRE life! 36 in total! I have never gone on vacation. My wallet is EMPTY. My heart is FULL!

The first thing I noticed about this product when I opened the can was that it smelled like human food; like beef stew. I noticed the chunks of meat and carrots too; it looked like real food, not mashed up "meat" paste. My dogs LOVED the taste! They licked their bowls clean and then went back to make sure they didn't leave any morsels or gravy. I really liked the tab open top versus having to use a can opener.

From the moment the can is cracked open, the aroma of Orijen Stew with Shredded Beef and Lamb sends me into a drooling frenzy. The scent is pleasant enough that even my mom doesn’t mind it. The taste is a hit packed with chunky beef and veggies. As soon as I see the can, I start jumping around in excitement. Mixed with some powder stuff my mom puts in it to help my joints and digestion, I can’t even tell—I gobble it all up.

Pros: Both of my senior dogs love it. One is an easy keeper and one is quite picky so in that sense it was a hit! Also, I like most of the listed ingredients, and so far my picky eater with the very sensitive gut has not had a bad reaction, poops are solid. Cons: Get rid of natural flavors! This is an industry norm that allows things to be added that we do not need in our pet food (or human food!) and are sometimes not healthy.
