Orijen uses an extrusion process that cooks the ingredients gently in their own juices with steam to ensure maximum flavor potential. This process typically cooks at temperatures between 92-125 degrees Celsius which is high enough to remove any pathogens that may be present in fresh meats, but low enough to maintain the nutritional integrity of the ingredients.

Healthy coats, dogs are not itchy & scratching

I have 2 male adult Rottweilers. They love Orijen kibble. Not having misc. vet bills is worth the extra costs. You can either pay for extra vet visits, or feed

I have 2 male adult Rottweilers. They love Orijen kibble. Not having misc. vet bills is worth the extra costs. You can either pay for extra vet visits, or feed your dogs good food. I choose to feed my dogs Orijen. I use “Orijen Regional Red” for “beef” flavored wet canned dog food, and “Orijen “Original” for chicken and fish flavored wet food. My dogs love both Orijen flavors. I use quality wet food also. I don’t eat food that is without nutrition and my dogs don’t either.

My dog loves this food. After much research, it's the one food that is backed by a reputable company that owns their manufacturing facilities. They also have a PhD nutritionist employed to develop their foods. This food brand hits all the ratios in product breakdown and uses a lot of different types of protein vs just one type of animal. I will stick with this brand for my doggos lifetime!

This brand used to be owned by Champion Pet Foods, but in 2023 was sold to Mars Corporation. I had trusted Champion to ensure that the quality of the product was beyond reproach, but don't have the same confidence in Mars. Time will tell, I suppose. That said, my very un-picky black lab, Jack, loves his meals. He gets 1/3 dry kibble, along with 1/3 dehydrated meal and 1/3 dried beef bits. The combination works for Jack, and is easy to pack up and take along on road trips. I appreciate that between the 3 foods, he is getting all the good stuff he needs, and he wolfs it all down.

The agent was very polite but I was not greatly appreciative with 3x the amount of dog food on my doorstep. At least I got the smaller bags for my RV trip which are easier to pack.
