ORIJEN uses a freeze-drying process in combination with a post-drying thermal treatment for these treats. During the freeze-drying process, the treats are briefly raised to 90°C. This step ensures that the food is free of pathogens such as Salmonella and Listeria.

Trying something new for this picky eater is challenging. This freeze-dried treat is almost powdery. The smell is like fish. Zuri sniffed and grabbed the treat and loved it, looking for more. I have to hide them! Thinking I might try adding the smaller powdered bits to her food since she ignores eating her recommended food and asks for snacks instead.

These are way too soft to be useful for treats

While the flavor is apparently good, these treats are way too soft. A third of the package was changed into dust by shipping. The rest frequently gets crushed simply

Caused severe diarrhea and vomiting...

This did not agree with my dog's stomach at all! Caused severe diarrhea and vomiting, ended with a severely dehydrated sick visit to the vet for subcutaneous fluids

Cats eat it, dog won't

Not sure why the dog is not interested. This is a very expensive treat for the dog not to touch it. Also the bag is faulty and won't reseal.
