Are the lightweight, middleweight and heavyweight versions different hardness of material? It appears they have different shaped protrusions and different sizes based on the "weight" but I can't tell about the hardness of material.

The different weights is the sizes suitable for the breed size. The Lightweight is suitable for Small breeds, the Middleweight is suitable for Medium breeds, and the Heavyweight is suitable for Large and Giant breeds.

Can you put kibble in grooves?

One of the better options

Our rescue pup has tried about every chew toy and this bone actually lasted longer than most. For the price, it’s a good option and we don’t feel too bad to replace
