Does this work on plugs of hair that you can pull out like tissue? My labradoodle with a soft, hair coat has funny wisps of hair that stick out.

Is there a large teeth for this? I have a Newfie . It's hard to get to the bottom of his coat. His breeder gave us rakes that are big and long, but the points may be too sharp for him.

We have a husky mix (with what I suspect is German Shepherd) and she sheds more than our woolly husky. This undercoat rake was PERFECT for her. From the first stroke on her fur it was pulling out that undercoat and the fur started FLYING off her. Looking back I probably should have done that outside. In any case, if you have a double-coated dog with a thickish coat, this is gonna do wonders. Perfect for German Shepherd or Husky. I would not use this on a Shiba, because the fur is too fluffy and the one I had while he did indeed have a very dense coat, his fur was fine textured and I would probably go for something more like a comb. Enjoy making your neighbors think it is snowing. The birds should also enjoy getting the fur for their nests. :)

Awesome Undercoat Rake!

This rake is amazing. We have a German Shepherd/Golden Retreiver mix. This rake gets so much of his loose undercoat out. The points on the rake look kinda sharp

This rake is amazing. We have a German Shepherd/Golden Retreiver mix. This rake gets so much of his loose undercoat out. The points on the rake look kinda sharp in the pic, but they aren't. Our dog loves being brushed with this. Even our short hair dog wants to be brushed with it just for a good scratch. Would definitely buy again!

I brush my dog with a wire bristle brush and it has removed a lot of fur, but this really got to a whole new layer. Especially now in the spring, this brunch pulled out handfuls of fluffy undercoat. It is a game changer. Seriously, I didn’t know if we needed an additional brush and we really did. And my dog doesn’t even have a super thick coat. I got the medium length one. I thought about a more expensive model but this one worked great. Definitely recommended!
