K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry

K-Plus Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules are formulated specifically for pets prone to urinary tract issues like urinary stones or recurrent urinary tract infections. The supplement is easy to administer, too.

Promotes Urinary Tract Health

The combination of potassium citrate and cranberry extract helps maintain a healthy urinary pH in pets. Potassium citrate helps prevent certain types of urinary stones, while cranberry extract helps prevent bacterial adherence to the bladder walls.

Reduces the Risk of Urinary Stones

K-Plus provides a supplemental source of potassium citrate, which inhibits the formation of calcium oxalate and struvite stones—two common types of urinary stones in dogs and cats.

Supports Bladder Health

Cranberry extract can have beneficial effects on the bladder by reducing the adherence of bacteria to the bladder walls. This helps prevent the colonization of harmful bacteria and supports a healthy bladder environment in pets.

Zelda became hypokalemic after starting her blood pressure medication, and this is the best potassium supplement I’ve found. It’s a cream, not a gel, which is SO much easier to dose! I draw it up in an oral syringe, and give it to her like a push pop twice a day!

She loves it!

I dreaded having to force feed this to my cat, but she looks forward to it, and licks it off the spoon.

It was very messy.

Mork did not like the flavor or consistency. I guess I have to get the brand our Vet carries.

Our original brand was out of stock for an unusually long period of time, so we bought this. Strangely, I accidentally bought a quantity of 2, but glad I did. It's a big hit with our cat who was low in potassium. Her last vet check confirmed her levels have returned to normal!!

My cat was prescribed a potassium supplement by the vet based on blood work. I've been using Renal-K for months and my cat would eat it mixed with wet food, no problem. Suddenly Renal-K is out of stock so I purchased K-Plus as a substitute. My cat will not touch it. He walks away every time even when it's mixed with his favorite food that he usually scarfs down. I tried forcing it with a syringe but who wants to do that to an 18 year old cat, when he liked the other brand? I'm very disappointed and now have no supplement for my cats who has low potassium levels. My only choice is to force feed it to him until the other product is back in stock.

Numbers better

I have an elderly dog who is having kidney function issues. My vet suggested this medicine and since using it, her numbers have improved.
