My previous dog had this collar that stayed in great shape for all of his 12 years, so I just got one for my puppy. I love the metal clasp - it’s sturdy but easy to open one-handed. I also love the separate attachment point for the tags.

It’s his favorite collar!

He is on his third of this exact same brand and color (blue). If you take his collar off he complains until you put it back on him. Only reason we replace is

This is the second one we’ve purchased. The 1st we used for 15 years on two dogs and is still functional, but our dog was sprayed by a skunk so we decided to replace

This is the second one we’ve purchased. The 1st we used for 15 years on two dogs and is still functional, but our dog was sprayed by a skunk so we decided to replace. The reflective thread is great but the metal clasp is the absolute best thing. Never ever came undone and the craftsmanship is so solid and so much easier to remove that the plastic ones. Highly highly recommend . You will not regret!

This is the 2nd collar I've purchased (same color, same size). It's solid and good quality and the only reason I have replaced the old one is because the reflective coating is wearing off after about 4 years, which is pretty good, in my opinion. I love the all metal construction for the buckle/clasp. We have the matching leash, too and that is the same age as the original collar and still going strong.

Quality collar

After having 2 collars break on me (from a puppy mind you, not strong enough to pull very hard) I switched to a collar with a metal clasp. This thing has held up

After having 2 collars break on me (from a puppy mind you, not strong enough to pull very hard) I switched to a collar with a metal clasp. This thing has held up great and is ergonomic to use. I like the ease of releasing the clasp as well as the plastic piece that holds the D ring upright to easily attach a leash. It also has a handy low profile ring that holds a dog tag nice and flat against the collar. I like that I can put his tag on a different ring than the leash, so I’m not struggling with it getting in the way. The fabric is a good color and nice thickness as well.

I love this collar for my 20-lb schnoodle mix. I bought 2 more as backups, in case they stop making it. The clasp is secure yet easy to use. Olli does a little dance
