I’m so sad! These squeaky Chuckit balls have been my dog’s favorite for her whole life. We’ve bought several! The squeakers do eventually wear out, but she still loves them. Got two new balls today and I gave her one. Within about 10 minutes she’d chewed it in half! Never happened before! I fished one of the old ones out from under the sofa to compare them. They’re the same size (medium), but the new ones don’t seem to be as sturdy. It’s like they reduced the amount of rubber (plastic? I don’t know) just slightly. They seem to weigh slightly less. I guess I’ll have to look for a new squeaky ball. :(

My dog (terrier mix) is a voracious chewer, so it's always hard to find a toy that he won't rip to pieces within minutes. This one has held up for about 2 weeks

My dog (terrier mix) is a voracious chewer, so it's always hard to find a toy that he won't rip to pieces within minutes. This one has held up for about 2 weeks now of rough play without even scratching (a miracle!). The squeaker is loud and durable, which my dog adores (lovers of quiet beware!). I usually go for the small size Chuckit products for my dog (about 20lbs; he can pick up medium size balls, but it's not as comfortable for him), but they were out so I decided to try medium, which turned out to be a good choice. The ball squishes when bit or squeezed, making it temporarily smaller, so the slightly oversized ball is actually less likely to become a choking hazard. This toy is definitely a winner!

My dog likes to destroy her chew toys, and she cannot break this one. She is obsessed with it. One note - it seems like after its been chewed for a while it will stop squeaking. I suspect this is a result of slobber getting into the squeaker, as it will be working again next time I take it out. Not an issues because by the time it stops squeaking she is already fully fixated.
