Great food and a good cost

I switched my dogs from premium canned and dry to freeze dried and raw food. The difference is huge in their energy and well being. My golden retriever is 7 years old and he started slowing down and looking a bit out of it. At first we thought it was his age, but 7 isn't that old. We then got a collie puppy who constantly had diarrhea no matter what we did. Even vet foods did not help. So, we finally tried freeze dried and the diarrhea stopped! Our puppy can eat any freeze dried or raw food with no problems, but one meal of premium, grain free canned or dry he gets diarrhea. Then, after the switch our golden started getting more energy and he looks more alert and like himself again! Switch to freeze dried changed both my pups quality of life! It is more expensive, but totally worth it. I did a ton of research of ingredients and the cost/quantity of each bag. I love how you can get a large amount and a reasonable price. Most freeze dried comes in smaller bags and with both dogs over 70 pounds it's not as cost effective to buy a bunch of small bags. This food is great. I highly recommend!

This food is expensive but worth every penny! This is freeze dried raw and easy to serve by just adding water. I rotate between the chicken and beef for my bernadoodle who has a sensitive tummy. He loves it and I haven't been to the vet for years because he is so healthy and he is now 8 years old--that's why I say it is worth it because I don't have vet bills and he doesn't have ANY health issues. I started him on this food when he was 2 because all other foods made him sick after a couple of months (I was at the vet every month or more!) and this food was recommended by a pet food store owner. I mix a little goat's milk kefir, white rice, canned pumpkin, sweet potato, parmesan cheese to keep it interesting for him.

I love the ingredients in this food, the fact it is from New Zealand (which has some of the worlds most strict dog food policies), and the fact that the protein sources are free-range or cage free and grass fed and finished. I have six dogs and some with health issues that are all controlled by diet. My one dog has epilepsy that is triggered by turkey and grains and he has not had a seizure since on this food. Another one of my dogs has liver issues and luxating patella (knee caps slides out of place) so he has to be on a very specific diet for his liver and the green mussels are excellent for his joints. A third one of my dogs is 9 years old and creaky so the mussels also help her. These two dogs also gets additional green mussel supplement by primal and no more creaking or knee cap popping out. All my dogs love it as well. It does come partially crumbled but I am ok with this since I weigh all my dogs food out and mix with water.
