My chihuahua developed SARDS (Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome) which can start by mimicking pre-Cushings. She appeared constantly hungry. After a couple of reviews by local vets who hesitated to diagnose Cushings, I consulted a vet ophthalmologist who diagnosed SARDS. Doing research I came across the recommendation to use Flaxseed Lignans to help lower the cortisol. After 30 days using this product, her blood test showed her cortisol level was normal. This helped a lot in her appetite getting back to normal.

We found out that Yoshi has Cushings but at age 14 we didn't want to put him through additional "challenge" tests. Melatonin was recommended as an alternative to expensive meds that could cause Potts. Research indicated that adding flaxseed signals could be beneficial. It's great that Yoshi thinks he's getting a tasty treat!

Works well

My groomer said it would help my dog with her Cushing disease. She’s been having trouble with her back legs. I’m giving it to her in conjunction with pain meds

My groomer said it would help my dog with her Cushing disease. She’s been having trouble with her back legs. I’m giving it to her in conjunction with pain meds and she’s doing much better.

It's great!

The only thing that could make it better is if it came in beef flavor! (I had to say that for my dog!).
