The 4 front wheels swivel, however, the back 2 do not. This carrier is specially made this way, so you can have full control to steer the carrier in the direction that you want.

How easy is it to remove the wheels and handle?

The wheels and handle are easy to detach. Simply open the Velcro strap to release the wheel baseboard. To remove the shoulder strap, release the plastic side buckles.

Great design; several extras not found on other pet travel bags

It glides easily through airports and their parking lots. The sip out sides add extra space for your pet to stretch out; move around. The six 360 wheels were A+

It glides easily through airports and their parking lots. The sip out sides add extra space for your pet to stretch out; move around. The six 360 wheels were A+ and I love that they are removable We just opened the (very strong Velcro holders) to remove the bottom tray of wheels and placed it in the overhead while our dog in the lighter carrier went under the forward seat in the plane. My one suggestion is to make the attached leash clip easier to use and extend the length so the pet can move more. Our dog was just a bit too big but it would be fantastic for smaller animals.

I bought this carrier to help take my 18lb Lucy through the airport a little easier. And although she wasn’t a fan of the rolling, I sure was. I really like the fact that it can open & extend on one or both sides. This was helpful on the plane. I took two different airlines and she seemed to fit perfectly underneath the seat of my Frontier flight, but it was a little snug on the American leg, but not terrible.

From the moment I opened the box, my cat was in this carrier. Desmond is a Siberian male, so he is a big boy at 18 lbs. Although he has to scrunch a bit when the sides are closed up, he seems to find comfort in the closeness. We opened the top so he could sit up & look around as we wheeled through the house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I love this for my Riley. We’ve been trying to get her to go in and she will when I toss a handful of treats to the very back. She will go in tentatively and will exit as soon as she’s eaten the treats. I’ve zipped up the door for 30 seconds and she’ll press her ticked off face to the mesh. Once I unzip the door, she scrambles out fast. Slowly trying to get her used to the idea of staying inside. I’ve lifted the bag once when she was securely inside and I could see and feel her circling like crazy trying to get out. She wasn’t happy. Time will tell if she’s comfortable on the airplane. The bag itself is great! Very well made. Love all the mesh and expansion if need be. It’s large enough for our cavapoo who is 16lbs and 17” long. She has no problems turning inside. The wheels are a plus and hopefully make our trip uneventful.

Well made, a ventilation flaw

This carrier is well made, and I appreciated the wheel design. However, I didn't realize there is no ventilation on the sides that expand, unless it's expanded

This carrier is well made, and I appreciated the wheel design. However, I didn't realize there is no ventilation on the sides that expand, unless it's expanded. So there's only one end and top ventilation for puppy when at its smallest under airline seat. Felt like it was too warm for my pup during the flight.
