What are the measurements of the 226.5-L bag?

The 20 Liter package measures 17 inches long by 10.24 inches wide by 3.75 inches thick. The 52 Liter package measures 16.5 inches long by 12 inches wide by 7.25 inches thick. The 226.5 Liter package measures 10 inches long by 16 inches wide by 24 inches thick.

Kaytee Aspen Small Animal Bedding is designed to be used by rabbits, Guinea pigs, chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, mice, rats, degu, hedgehogs and sugar gliders. It is made from 100% natural hard wood and does not contain any aromatic oils.

This aspen bedding does not expire. It is good to use if stored properly, in a dry area.

15 outside cats have a small shed for winter. I needed straw for the styrofoam and cardboard little enclosures. I tried one brand that had large pieces of hay which they didn’t like because they couldn’t make nests to snuggle in. This bale worked perfectly. Had to go through the hay to take out some hard pieces that looked like large weeds or wood. But the morning after using this hay all their little enclosures had been used and they made their little cuddle spots so I knew they were happy and warm.

Horrible Smell

This is the worse smelling bedding I've bought. To the point of not even wanting to attempt to use it for my rats due to their sensitive respiratory systems. I've

This is the worse smelling bedding I've bought. To the point of not even wanting to attempt to use it for my rats due to their sensitive respiratory systems. I've never smelled Aspen that had this sour smell to it. Perhaps it wasn't correctly kiln dried? The shred and the fact it's pretty dust free doesn't overcome the unnatural smell the bag I got has. Will never buy Kaytee again.

Kay Tee aspen is now cut differently than earlier versions and it is sooo much easier to decompress and separate into smaller bags for easy use.

So much dust!!

It astounds me how much dust comes along with these shavings. I continue using the product because the price is very good, but it is insane how much there is. I

It astounds me how much dust comes along with these shavings. I continue using the product because the price is very good, but it is insane how much there is. I actually take time during the cage cleaning process for it to settle so they aren't placed into a cloud. I wish there was an easy way to remove at least some of the dust instead of making them live with it, but I've not managed to come up with a good solution to date. It's very frustrating. Other than that, it's fine. The shavings are cut about medium to what I've seen from other brands, which seems to work fine.

Great product, box size mismatched

This is a big bag of chips. I like that the bag lasts a long time and it works well for my rabbits. However, the box size for shipping is way too big and there

This is a big bag of chips. I like that the bag lasts a long time and it works well for my rabbits. However, the box size for shipping is way too big and there was so much packing filler (paper) stuffed in with it. It seems like there can be a better way to pack and ship this product without so much paper waste. I really do love this product, though!! :-)

Not dusty which was a wow factor. I am very picky. I breed werewolf/patchwork rats. So I want the best. I tried hemp, pine, paper, etc. I was surprised at how this stayed clean, and didn't produce dust. They enjoy digging in it. I will be ordering again. Great bedding for oder control

I use this in my rat cage but have also used it for guinea pigs. The difference in oder control between this and that recycled paper nesting material is the difference

I use this in my rat cage but have also used it for guinea pigs. The difference in oder control between this and that recycled paper nesting material is the difference between having to change the cage daily and being able to go 2-3 days before changing. It's soft enough that the rats like it. It can give you splinters - I use a glove to clean it out (If I need to keep the rats in the cage while I am changing it).
