cute, but...

I loved this thing when we bought it. It is super cute and my daughter loved carrying her Syrian hamster around in it. It is very small, but that didn’t bother me since it was just for short trips. What I didn’t like were: the water bottle leaks and if you don’t use it there is a hole in the ceiling and there is a way to make the floor of the cage drop off while you are carrying it so our sweet hammy fell to the floor when my daughter accidentally pushed the button. There should be a way to lock that out for carrying.

My daughter loves it. I wish it came with a cap if you don't need the water bottle hole. She hooked it up to the rest of her cage system so she already has a water bottle.

Great small dining room for sugar gliders

I use this in my smaller glider habitat to serve as a small dining area. It can hold a small lixit bowl, and an apple slice. I don't think it's advertising at, or appropriate for a full time habitat, but it certainly is a great transport for small pets, and a great dining area for small pets in a small habitat as well

Why would any company make cages this small for ANY living thing? All crittertrail cages are too small and should be banned from being sold. It should be considered animal abuse to keep a hamster in a cage smaller than a 40 gallon critter tank.
