Can a teddy bear hamster live in this habitat

What size is the water bottle? The side yellow dome, is it detachable yo add other things?

The water bottle holds 10 ounces. The yellow side dome can be removed to place a tube or link with another Kaytee habitat. The Kaytee CritterTrail Small Animal Accessory Kits are compatible with any of the Kaytee CritterTrail Small Animal Habitats.

Can you use the trays with the bedding that you use for other cages in it?

A tray can be used as long as it fits within the dimensions of this habitat.

My wife has a fancy mouse is this the right cage and is the wheel the right size .

I bought this originally for my 10 yr old s first hamster. It looked cool, fun, and what you would buy for a child. The locking, snap design is awful. If you don't

I bought this originally for my 10 yr old s first hamster. It looked cool, fun, and what you would buy for a child. The locking, snap design is awful. If you don't bend the bars while putting this together, you're awesome. Pinched fingers and frustration. Once you hook up the fun tunnels for the hamster, it's virtually impossible for an adult to quickly with ease remove the parts , let alone a child, to clean the cage. I returned this cage after 2days of owning it. It really annoyed me that a co. Would sell this with the intent to sell for children. It's only fun to look at. The design of this is ridiculous. Oh and the wheel, dear heaven. I know they can be noisy but what the heck? Do not recommend this. Purchase one that's easy for an adult to take apart as needed or a child who is learning responsibility and wants to clean it themselves.

Purchased as an addition ..

I purchased this as an addition to the small cage that we already had but the metal bars along the top are damaged & therefore the cage just pops apart so it's unusable

The water bottle that comes with it is of better quality though than the one that came with the other Kaytee habitat that we already have.

This cage is not suitable for any animal. Even if you buy extensions for it, it isn't the same as a whole big area. a small pet will also get their back hurt from

This cage is not suitable for any animal. Even if you buy extensions for it, it isn't the same as a whole big area. a small pet will also get their back hurt from those tubes and if you switch to a good cage you can tell how happy they become. These are like colorful jail cells.

My mouse made a hole in the plastic and got out at night!

My mouse ate through that flimsy plastic at night just to face our two cats! So lucky the cats were too lazy. This company should be sued for endangering animal

LOVE THIS! don’t get just one!

So this the cage I got when I brought my babygirl home. Chai is a female winter white. Eventually it did seem as if she might be bored, and after reading all of

So this the cage I got when I brought my babygirl home. Chai is a female winter white. Eventually it did seem as if she might be bored, and after reading all of the reviews online condemning these cages and pretty much saying your hammie needs a bin the side of a studio apartment, like any new furbaby parent, i got freaked out and felt guilty and transferred her to an ENORMOUS bin cage. She HATED it. She got very lethargic, always sleeping and keeping her movement to one part of the cage. She stopped using her wheel, and constantly worked on trying to escape, which she did. THAT WAS SCARY!!!!!! Anyways, we switched her back into this crittertrail cage and connected it to a second cage via tubes. Let me say she LOVES it. I think she might be getting restless again so I’m going to purchase extra tubes/attachments and likely a third connectable cage. I have a wheel and water bottle in both cages just in case she got stuck in one. Get more than one it’s like her own amusement park!

Very great starter for any small animal!

This is a great base for any beginner pet setup. Worth every penny! The water bottle is kinda sad and flimsy, drips a lot, but everything else is great!

Perfect for small hamster

We are fostering a small hamster during the school shut down. This is a perfect cage for her, space to run and burrow. My only gripe is that it was a little difficult
