Not a good choice for outside mounting in outdoor environment

By None on Apr 1, 2021

Purchased two of these gravity feeders with the idea of mounting them externally on an outside cage. Upon arrival, not only ate these smaller than I thought they would be, there is a design flaw with the lid that would prevent them from being mounted on the outside of a cage outside. The lid does not cover the entire top of the food bin. There are cracks along the side which would allow rain/ water to easily get into the food. So I have mounted them inside the cages, but the direction the lid opens makes filling them really awkward. I will most likely have to replace these with a better model. Purchasing these has kind of been a waste of money at this point. They function- but they don Purchased two of these gravity feeders with the idea of mounting them externally on an outside cage. Great for Oxbow Regal Rat

By Enne on Mar 10, 2021

I was previously using a Ware metal bin feeder for my Oxbow Regal Rat blocks, but the shape of them wouldn't allow them to drop into the bottom easily. On this bin feeder they can easily drop down. I also like the style of attachment better on this model as well. Definitely recommend for rats! This fits my Martin's cage perfectly with 1/2" by 1" bar spacing. Tip: Attach the hanger part to the cage bars first, then snap the bin feeder onto it. You need a screwdriver to hold the bolt in place while you screw the plastic backing part onto the holder from the outside of the cage.

    Works well!

    By AB46 on Jun 15, 2021

Attaches to the side of the cage and is easy to remove when needed. Holds a good amount of food. Have had no issues with it.

    Rabbit Friendly

By Anya on Mar 23, 2021

Got this for when I went on little trips. It lasts my fat boi about a week, and that’s saying something because he eat a lot. I was tickled when I saw it was purple, which doesn’t bother me or Bun Jovie. He hasn’t started eating the bin itself so that’s a plus. Would definitely recommend!

    It is a okay feeder

By Mariah on Apr 12, 2021

I haven't had it a month yet and it works for what it needs to. Sadly today I notice the bottom part is slightly spreading apart but I am sure it's a easy fix.

    Great product!

By Katherine on Mar 24, 2021

I absolutely love these things. So easy for my guinea pigs to eat out of and it makes it super easy to not have to worry about refilling pellets for awhile.

    My bird didn’t like it.

By Daisy on Feb 4, 2021

I am sure this is a good feeder, but I purchased it for my cockatiel so he couldn’t throw his food all over. Unfortunately, there is no way he will go anywhere ear it

    Can't mount bracket feeder.

By GusGus on Mar 3, 2021

It's sitting on top of the guinea pigs cage because I have no idea how to put it on the cage. Instructions are very poor.
