Give your pet the benefits of high-fiber alfalfa hay in a convenient cube with Kaytee Alfalfa Cubes Small Animal Food. Small pets including Guinea Pigs, rabbits and chinchillas need hay to aid in the digestion process, keep their teeth trim and satisfy their need to chew. In fact, hay should make up 75 percent of their daily diet. Kaytee Alfalfa Cubes Small Animal Food are tightly compressed blocks of nutritious, sun-cured, sweet alfalfa hay. Alfalfa hay is an excellent appetite stimulant and the compressed cubes provide a more challenging chew than regular bale hay. Your small pet may even stack the cubes to create a nest or bed. Offer several times a day as a treat in addition to their regular hay supply.

I used to buy these cubes when I had Rabbits and Guinea Pigs. The cubes are hard but no problem for them to eat. Hay should be part of the diet. Cubes are great for Guinea Pigs because their teeth continually grow and it helps keep the teeth in shape.

Our rabbit Flopsy loves the Kaytee alfalfa cubes. He gets one early in the morning. He actually flips it in the air. It is great to keep him busy when he is bored. Great prices. Thank you Chewy.
Piggies don’t like

They come in the different sizes as stated but they are REALLY hard. My guinea pigs can’t break them I can’t even break it and they stopped chewing on it after the first hour.
guineas Love cubes

They are very compact so you definitely get your money’s worth. One of my guineas favor these over Timothy hay and my other guinea favors the cubes over the hay. I recommend.

Only one of my rabbits really cares enough about this treat. The youngest one loves these cubes. The other one just takes a few nibbles and leaves it there.
Rabbits should not eat alfalfa

This product is very bad for your rabbits and bunnies rabbits should be given timothy hay and other hats depending on your rabbit alfalfa hay is not okay for rabbits. Alfalfa hay is meant for horses because it is a dusty loose hay which is not good for bunnies it clogs their noses and makes them have breathing problems .

My Guinea pigs love these hay cubes. There a little hard which works great for the teeth. And they love the hay. A great buy.

The item itself is a lot more solid than I thought it would be, I cant break it apart easily as it says in description.

Both my rabbit and chinchilla love these cubes, so they are very happy now. I make sure they have them in their cages all the time.
