Give your pet the benefits of high-fiber alfalfa hay in a convenient cube with Kaytee Alfalfa Cubes Small Animal Food. Small pets including Guinea Pigs, rabbits and chinchillas need hay to aid in the digestion process, keep their teeth trim and satisfy their need to chew. In fact, hay should make up 75 percent of their daily diet. Kaytee Alfalfa Cubes Small Animal Food are tightly compressed blocks of nutritious, sun-cured, sweet alfalfa hay. Alfalfa hay is an excellent appetite stimulant and the compressed cubes provide a more challenging chew than regular bale hay. Your small pet may even stack the cubes to create a nest or bed. Offer several times a day as a treat in addition to their regular hay supply.

I know my guinea pigs need to be eating a lot of hay in order for their stomachs to work properly, and I know that they need to be chewing on tough things in order to keep their teeth from growing out of control.
These hay cubes help keep the hay intake high, while also keeping the teeth in check. My pigs get excited about these cubes and see them as a treat!
Great treat for my bun!
on Aug 24, 2018
My bunny went absolutely nuts over these. I got them as a treat for him, and give him one a week in addition to his normal greens and grasses. He gets so excited when he sees a block- he loves to throw it around and play with it as he chews on it, but he never leaves a mess on the floor because he eats every last crumb! These will definitely be a re-order for Frank and I.
My guinea pigs love these!

I love these alfalfa cubes, they are definetely cheaper here than in stores. My piggies love to roll them around and chew on them and one cube lasts them for days.
For the pigs

They love it! My pigs go through their hay feeder fast, so this is a good back up to keep them from emptying out their bin so fast.
Good for variety

I give these treats a 10! Bunny just loves chewing on them until they are eaten. It is good for her teeth AND nutritious.
Bunny isn’t interested in it anymore
on Mar 23, 2018
I purchased a few this time since my bunny usually eats these up fairly quickly. However this time around he’s not too interested. It’s been a while since I ordered these (4 pks) and I still have 2 unopened packages just sitting around. I know he’ll come around so I’m not complaining. I know he’ll eat it when he’s ready
My Bunnies love these

I have been giving these to my rabbits for some time now, and they really love them! My rabbits are big, Molly is over 8 lbs; but I think these would be fine for smaller critters as well. Just keep an eye on it in case it gets wet/yucky. Also, I only give them about once a week, and give Timothy hay other days. I like that they are hard and help satisfy the rabbits need to chew.
some like it, some dont

My daughter has 3 rabbits, all the same breed, (lion heads) and 2 out of the 3 didnt eat any of the alfalfa cube, i also provide them with fresh timothy hay so maybe they just liked that better?
it arrived on time and was fresh, just guess rabbits have preferences like all animals
Preggo Sow & Hungry Pups
on Dec 27, 2017
My sow loved nibbling on these when she was nursing her first litter. I'd hand one to her while she tended to her pups and she would knaw on it. As her pups became more active, I'd put an extra one in the cage for them to knaw on as well. They loved it just as much!
