So-so replacement for simple rewards
By Minizoo on Feb 21, 2021
I've been trying different treats to try and find a replacement for the oxbow simple rewards since my guinea pig refuses them since Oxbow changed them. My guinea pig will come out and demand a treat several times a day. I have several different treat bags open so he doesn't get the same multiple times a day. Most times when I offer him the Kaytee carrot ones he happily takes them and runs off with it. One in a while he will refuse it and I have to give him something else but if I leave it for him he will at least eat it later - unlike the newer simple rewards that he absolutely refuses to consume. So this at least seems like one possible replacement. Still have the other flavor of these that I've been trying different treats to try and find a replacement for the oxbow simple rewards since my guinea pig refuses them since Oxbow changed them. My chinchilla is very picky about treats. Basically about everything. But he really likes things. The Guinea Pigs and rabbit also enjoy them.

Do not buy from Kaytee! Go for Oxbow!
By Victoria on Feb 6, 2021
My guinea pigs absolutely did not like any of the Kaytee products, only Oxbow. I have consistently gotten low quality products that go to waste from Kaytee.

Chinchilla treats
By Tobysioux on Jan 15, 2021
We inherited a chin that had never had the right food or treats ever. Never had the proper care. He was in chinchilla heaven when he got the proper food and his treats.

Not for my Bunny
By Melissa on Dec 27, 2020
I bought these as a Christmas treat, but my bunny did not like them. She likes other KAYTEE products such as the spinach treat bars and the strawberry treat bars. These just did not appeal to her.

My 3 guinea pig boys love these. They absolutely go nuts when they hear the bag make noise. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a guinea pig looking for a good treat for them.

NOT FOR RATS
By Eric on Dec 12, 2020
Please do not feed any treats containing Timothy hay to rats, Timothy hay can cause a blockage in the rats bellies because they can not digest it.

Not Great in my rats’ opinions
By Jayce on Nov 27, 2020
Not very appetizing according to my boys. I have one rat that won’t even eat these & the other 3 will only take them if they’re hungry/when their food bowl is empty
