These products are selfishly marketed towards guinea pigs for profit. Responsible guinea pigs owners would understand clearly that they have very sensitive spines. A leash can harm their spines because they cannot be trained to walk like a dog. DO NOT purchase this for a GUINEA PIG! Do your research. Be responsible.
Will fit your smaller ferrets. Also, will fall apart very fast. Very poor stitching. I've bought 8 of them because they're the only ones that are small enough, but if they wouldn't fall apart I would've only needed 2!
I put the harness on my ferret inside the house for a couple of times a day and thought I should cut the straps shorter because the small is too big. So a month later I decide I should take her to the park because it's not too hot, not too cold, and it's supposed to rain in a day. I walk, she hops, plays in the leaves, and does ferret things. When she's tired I pick her up and take her to the car and start unbuckling her. I undo the velcro and the buckle that goes underneath her appendage on the left and it..becomes unstitched? She didn't bite it, and it wasn't caught on anything along the way..so idk what could have happened if we kept walking. I'm thankful that the velcro was there though. I love the leash because it strengthens her and it doesn't stress her out.
As soon as I took the harness out of its container the clips fell off then the thread started unraveling. It was a complete waste of money.
I am to angry to express my feelings about this I feel so bad for the animals that was put on a leash
It’s about the quality you would expect. It fell apart the first day. Definitely a bummer.
Originally got for my small animals including rabbits but no way would this fit my rabbits way too small will fit my piggies though wish I could’ve got a different color but my boys will just have to rock pink
As a new pig owner, I thought this would be cool for my guinea pig(s). The more I learn about them... this is not something for them. Not only will they easily wiggle out, they aren’t meant for this kinda stuff. The product itself was okay.
If you have a slightly chonkier animal and need to adjust the Velcro straps to make room, this harness is sewn with the “hard” Velcro strip excess exposed to the fur. Why not have the soft Velcro strip facing the interior, and the hard side out?? (If you have long hair and ever got it caught in Velcro headbands you know this is not a great feeling, since it can pull individual hairs out one by one with a little bit of tugging). It wouldn’t feel nice with direct skin contact for short hair animals either.
Im browsing want a buckle vest because i think she could get out of velcro and dont want her to get lost
