Formula is NOT The Same As Their Smaller Bags!

I've always purchased Kaytee Supreme seed for my parakeets in smaller bags, but recently decided to buy the 20 pound bag to reduce deliveries this winter. I transferred

I've always purchased Kaytee Supreme seed for my parakeets in smaller bags, but recently decided to buy the 20 pound bag to reduce deliveries this winter. I transferred the seed to an airtight container and threw away the bag, then realized my parakeets would not touch it! This formula is supposed to be plain seeds but the batch I received was more than 75% little gray pellets, which my birds will not eat. As always, Chewy graciously gave me a credit to reorder smaller bags. Hopefully they'll be the same seed my parakeets love!

Honestly my birds would probably eat any seed mixture I'd give them. However I love the fact that this seed mix DOES NOT add any fillers artificial colors or fragrances

Honestly my birds would probably eat any seed mixture I'd give them. However I love the fact that this seed mix DOES NOT add any fillers artificial colors or fragrances. All six if my birds happily munch it down with chopped veges, rice and the occasional boiled egg!

Great base to build what your Keets and Tiels like

I really like the Kaytee brand. I have six parakeets and one cockatiel together, and food can go fast with that community. This bag is economical. My Aussie community

I really like the Kaytee brand. I have six parakeets and one cockatiel together, and food can go fast with that community. This bag is economical. My Aussie community refuses to eat seeds mixed with pellets like most bird bags include (nice idea, but I hate waste). Here is what I do: this seed bag is perfect build and blend at home. I add Kaytee greens into the mix. Then I add various other separate seeds and grains, even coconut and a few wholesome treat mixes for fruit diversity and flavor. Then I add a cockatiel seed mix for more diversity (and for my cockatiel). Then I keep seperate bowls for various pellet blends. I highly recommended this seed bag by Kaytee, and a good base for special home seed blends. Folks, always freeze bird food, and keep freezing periodically because moths invade everything; natural to the material, including our own materials like rice.

The birds outside are always lined up on the wires just waiting for me to go outside and start whistling for them. They definitely got me timed for their feedings. Can’t get enough of it.
