Will not buy again
Very disappointed with this product. Will not purchase again. Ordered this product because it was waste free food. It was just a bag of POWDER. Not even small pieces, just powder.
Working out great!
I have this in 2 of the feeders in my yard. Both are very well visited by finches and chickadees. The jays try, but they are too big for the feeders. It seems to last so much longer because it isn't full of 'fillers' that get tossed out. I especially like it for the feeder on my new patio/pergola, where I really don't want waste all over the place. The tiny bit that does fall out quickly gets picked up by other birds. When you open the package, it actually smells like high-quality granola. I will definitely purchase this again.
Decent blend
This is a decent blend of bird seed. I have found out local birds don't care for the fruit included. I use this in a flat tray feeder.

Chewy is the only place to purchase this
I’ve used Kaytee waste free nut and fruit for years. I haven’t been able to find it until I looked on the Chewy website. I feed both birds and squirrels and every species LOVE this. The plus side is ZERO mess and it is edible for animal and human....not that I would eat it though, but just saying it’s that safe. You will not be disappointed! It’s worth every penny! Added plus is that Chewy is fast in shipping.
Strong fruit smell puts birds off!
I opened the bag and it smelled like cherry Pop Tarts, my first thought was 'uh oh'... and I was right. The sparrows - who are usually pretty greedy - are not eating this, and even the normally voracious jays aren't interested. So there's a waste of money. Why did they put this artificial smell on the product? I have an expensive bag of squirrel food on my hands, basically, because they will eat anything! Please note - I didn't buy this from Chewy - no wonder it was on sale in my local shop.
Birds Love It!
This was recommended by one of Chewy's associates and the birds absolutely love it. They love the extra fruit goodies in the blend which I wasn't expecting. Now they are totally spoiled!

The various species of birds that come to my yard all seem to really like this food. And as the name implies, it's waste free. What little bit they kick out that falls to the ground, does not take root. I will definitely keep this bird food on hand from now on.
