Questions & Answers

2 Customer Questions

how long does a bucket last for a pony?
Answer by Chewy • Jul 07, 2022
Ponies should be fed at a rate of 60 grams (1 scoop) per day. The 4.5 kilogram bucket of Micro-Max will therefore last for approximately 75 days.

Hi, what’s the sugar and starch #s for this in the daily recommended feed amount? Also, how many calories per recommended daily feeding amount?
Answer by Chewy • May 09, 2022
The total nonstructural carbohydrate content per 120 g serving is 12 g (10% NSC). The digestible energy is 250 kcal per 120 g serving.

Great for my Mule

My Mule loves these pellets, his coat shines, his feet are great, he is growing and filling out (almost 2) without growing too fast. Going to start my chunky Mustang on this as well.

Ingredient label different than advertised

I was excited to try this product as it advertised to be free from particular ingredients that I avoid (wheat middlings, soybean oil). However, when I received I noticed the ingredient label was quite different than what was posted on Chewys website. Hopefully this can get corrected. Posting to help other diet-conscious buyers.

So far so good

My mare, Breezy, is hideously overweight and a downright bully. She is the lunchroom fat kid you see in movies who steal other kids lunchboxes. I started her on this, hoping to cut her out of the high fat/protein senior feed everyone else gets. She has some genetic issues where her hooves grow too fast and she accumulates large fatty deposits along her crest, croup and ribcage. I'll be interested to see how she loses the weight over the next six months - will report back then.
