First, I have to give props to Chewy for so greatly expanding our access to horse feed products by including products from other parts of the world! I think it’s great to have so many new options to use for finding the perfect products to give our horses the correct nutrition for each one’s individual needs! Keyflow Maestro is a low sugar performance feed designed to give horses energy during workouts and competition. With this in mind, it must be fed at least 3-4 hours before work. My horse was initially a bit skeptical of the new flavor profile but quickly decided it was worth eating. When I started feeding Maestro I noticed it gave a positive impact on my horses energy during our workouts. It has 7.3% fat and 13.5% protein in an extruded (pre cooked) formula with prebiotics and probiotics also included to make it easier to digest. If you’re looking for a new high performance energy feed to try I’d definitely recommend Keyflow Maestro!

Sadly, there isn’t a ton I love about this food. I really hate the packaging first of all. The bag is hard to open and there was a QR code you could scan for more

Sadly, there isn’t a ton I love about this food. I really hate the packaging first of all. The bag is hard to open and there was a QR code you could scan for more info but it was right where the bag was sealed, so it took me 4 tries to scan and open it and when I finally got it to open it took me to a link that didn’t exist. The food was advertised as low starch and hi fat, which is good for a lot of my rescue horses. Beet pulp can be good or controversial depending on who you ask, but I’d say it’s one of the better ingredients in this food. This food has rice bran and corn, both inflammatory markers for horses and corn isn’t digestible. Overall, it’s really not something I’d go for. At least it’s low starch and not a sweet feed, so it does have that going for it.

This looks more like dog food with all kinds of bits and pieces. I have a 31-year-old pony mare who has Cushings so she has to watch her starches and sugars, but she is also a bit thin. She doesn't have a lot of teeth so what I give her is served wet. At first she refused this food when served with her regular food. She left it behind and ate around it. I next mixed it in better with her regular food (low starch diet and some alfalfa pellets) and she ate all of it. It does seem to take her longer to eat than it used to. Time will tell if I can safely add some weight to this pony without adding sugar and starches.

Nive product so far. I have only used it for a couple weeks. It has a pleasant smell so it is gobbled up. The ingredients are clearly listed. You know exactly what you are feeding your horse . My husband opened the bag and i did a double take because some of the pellets look like cat food 🙃 they are not though. It does have copper like most feed so i just make sure to feed away from my hungry sheep. It will take a few weeks to see results. So far i am pleased and feek confident feeding it.

I have been using the Keyflow Maesto on a senior medium duty performance horse. I like the low sugar & high fat content. Easy digestibility was also a major factor for a senior horse. Results were great. I use this feed as a topical supplement. Horse loves it and performs well on it. I am happy with this feed. If I could change one thing about it, I would increase the fat to 10% for the horses that may be harder keepers like mine.

This feed is such a good choice for horses that need low sugar and high fat! I tried it on my guy that gets Lyme relapses with too much sugar in his diet, but is a big giant TB who needs high fat to stay fit and in proper body condition. He was VERY skeptical about this feed initially because it has different colored and textured pieces, but once I dampened it, he got over it and ate it all. Subsequent meals were all finished if the food was damp. He is not the norm though, and the other horses in the barn I gave handfuls too as taste tests all gobbled it right up. This is a lovely feed with good wholesome ingredients- glad we can get it in the US now!

My horse seems to like it, shes not super picky but occasionally will refuse certain foods. I have only been feeding it about a week now so i haven't noticed much change in performance or looks yet.

Easy to soak to increase hydration. Will continue with Keyflow but will move to senior line to improve top line. Only con is somewhat pricey but with the quality ingredients is worth improving condition.
