Original lasted longer
I was happy to get the replacement covers after my puppies had shredded the netting and initially liked that the new covers have one side with velcro, making assembly easier. However, the fabric is coming apart underneath and the velcro detached. Also, the surface attract my huskies’ fur a lot more than the Frisco & Solartec beds we have, so they always look messy and they are harder to clean than the others
Lasted less than a week
I liked the idea of replacing the cover vs buying a whole new dog bed. While the original cover lasted a year before my puppy chewed it apart on the edges, the seams on this replacement cover came apart at one of the corners after less than a week. They must not have been sewn properly. Will invest in a higher quality elevated dog bed, as this replacement cover was a disappointment.
Velcro comes apart
I love Chewy and they are my go to place for my babies. I have numerous senior dogs and they love the K&H beds but if you need a replacement cover this isn't for you. It's hard to get the velcro to attach and stay. The idea was great with the extra large beds since they are hard to put together but the manufacturer could do one of two things. 1. Go back to the original or 2. Make the velcro end longer so that it has complete contact with the other side. Chewy, I love you.
They Fit Just Right
We had old cots for our senior twins stationed under the deck ( their safe place). In February this year, a rather large very young Belgian Malinois walked onto our property hoping for his own safe place. We took him in and allowed him to sleep under the deck. But, as all puppies are prone to do, he attacked the cots as his very own prey. As he has gained more and more toys, we decided to replace the pads hoping they would fit and I would be able to assemble the cots easily. Success on every turn. Thanks for great products.
not a good replacement
We LOVED our original bed but we bought the replacement after many years of the original finally stretching out. The replacement has Velcro on one end and does NOT hold at all. The original did not have Velcro on it. Not sure if this can be fixed but don’t buy it, it does not hold at all and now our dog won’t lay on it without it being fixed every day, a few times a day
The Bowls Lie
The bowls say they have a quantity of 4.75 cups. They barely hold 3 cups of food and thats with the food teetering haphazardly in a mountain in the middle. It’s honestly quite sad watching my St Bernards try and eat out of these bc there’s literally not enough room for them to eat and keep it in the bowl. I just ordered different bowls in a much larger size, so hopefully those will perform better.
doesn't hold up
just got my replacement covers and day 2 seams ripped off 2 of 3 covers. I don't recommend this product at all! Didn't even last a day.
Replacement cot cover
We've had this cot for atleast 5 years. This is our third cot cover, one being a warmer option for winter. The only reason I had to replace the "summer" one is because one of our friends tried to sit on it to love our pup. Cedar loves this cot so much it goes everywhere with us!!
Great product
Got this after the original wore out, my 115lb puppy loves it. Easy to use, comfortable for the dog
Replacement Cot cover
Purchased the spare cover for the dog cot to have a clean one on hand at all times. My puppy loves this cot, but tended to flip it over to chew on the Velcro underneath. That was solved by zip tying the rear legs to her kennel. Overall this is a great product.
