Will the piece that secures it in the window scratch tinted windows?

If the tinting used is a film rather than baked into the glass from the glass manufacturer, it could possibly scratch the tinting due to the repetitive up and down motion.

Will it stop my dog from rolling the window up and down and locking/unlocking the doors?

These door protectors are easy to remove, all that needs to be done is separate the suction cup from the window and pull the tabs out from inside the window joint. No tools required.

I can’t even count the number of different kinds of door protectors my dogs have ripped off while barking at something on the other side of the car window. But these

The material is good and they are well-made. My problem with them is that they say they can fly out the window if the window is open. My dog doesn't go onto the

The material is good and they are well-made. My problem with them is that they say they can fly out the window if the window is open. My dog doesn't go onto the arm rest unless the window is open and that is what I bought these to protect. I am trying to devise a way to anchor them to the armrest or the seat protector to prevent that, but haven't solved that yet. Also, not really sure what the suction cup is for (It is not for the problem I just mentioned.).

Doesn’t stay in place

Put these in my back window. Fit well but the clips made it difficult to roll the window down and they did not stay in place when I rolled the window up. Tried multiple

Great Design but Not Washable

I love the design of this product. I chose it because of the mesh opening that allows air flow and allows my dog to see through to the front. It fits great, is easy

I love the design of this product. I chose it because of the mesh opening that allows air flow and allows my dog to see through to the front. It fits great, is easy to install, and keeps most dog hair off the seats. My biggest disappointment is that it is not machine washable. I have tried vacuuming it with minimal success in removing some fur. Today. I tried spraying it with the hose and that removed some hair, but definitely not all.

Stays put!!

I was using another popular brand, WT. Those never stayed in place and sand from their paws after the very Florida sandy dog park. My interior was getting scratched

My interior was getting scratched and sand in the window crack and door handles and locks THESE STAY IN PLACE! I just ordered 2 more sets for the very back stationary windows so i can use the suction cups. I highly recommend these!

I love the coverage I get for the doors in my truck. I do find the suction cup to get in the way so I remove those. I open the windows so it isn't appropriate for my use. Four out of five because it has a tendency to flap up and outside the window if you lower then too much. Some weight at the bottom would help keep them down in place more effectively.

They Work!!!!

my youngest dog is a monster in the car when he sees other dogs on the sidewalk and I noticed he was leaving marks on the edge of the back doors of my new car.

my youngest dog is a monster in the car when he sees other dogs on the sidewalk and I noticed he was leaving marks on the edge of the back doors of my new car. I tried taping towels but of ourse that failed. I didn't even know there was a real product for this purpose but I typed it in and voila! I found really expensive complicated ones from other places but thought I would give these a try and they certainly were much more affordable, plus they matched my cars interior leather color better. They are super simple to install and they work great!
