King Lou Complete Raw Lamb Recipe has been gladly accepted by my two picky pups. My one girl is extremely fussy and since feeding King Lou's she comes running as soon as she hears the bag! I have been introducing this food to my dogs as a topper to their kibble at dinner time. The consistency of this human grade food is very appealing; you can see the quality! This particular recipe from King Lou's includes 9 simple nutrient dense ingredients....that's it! No preservatives or fillers, so I know my precious babies are getting the best of the best! Plus... King Lou's is Made In The USA! I would highly recommend King Lou's and hope to try some of their different recipes soon!

This is top tier dog food in my opinion. The ingredients are amazing, I love that it comes dehydrated so it makes it more versatile for my needs. It’s basically top of the line in my opinion. My only complaints are that I wish it was a little more finely milled but that preference, just had some large chunks that needed to be broken up. I give my dogs a lot of enrichment toys, so I used this as a filler for a lick treat mostly which my dogs loved. I was abled to add more water to make it more soupy for treats or do as the instructions and I used it more as a meal topper. My dogs loved anything I put it on or in. Definitely a great buy, it is a little spendy but worth every penny!

I love the clean ingredients! Very few ingredients and no fillers junk or anything synthetic. Both my big and small dog love this food. My cats were a little more hesitant to the dehydrated factor I think but they were interested in trying it when I sprinkled some on top of the regular dry food. I have used the chunks as treats for the dogs too. There is a lot of powder from the dehydrated food getting bumped around in shipping I think, it just breaks down easily but I added a little water in their bowls to rehydrate the powder and to prevent them from inhaling the powder, my dogs absolutely loved this stuff.

I like using raw food as a mixin or supplement to my dogs' dry food. They appreciate the extra flavor boost and I like the extra protein boost hence asking my dogs to be very active. This raw food is more like shreds or chunks, not pellets or patties. So it mixes in really well. I usually pre-mix dry food with pellet style, but for this I opt to add on top so its more evenly distributed. No weird smells, the dogs eat it up, and no upset tummy. I like the ingredients, really straightforward and simple, no preservatives. I always appreciate clean made food. I would definitely add this to my dog's diet again.

Delicious but inconsistent
King Lou completely raw lamb food was a big hit. My female golden retriever scarfed it up. I think the food/water ratio is too thin and the pieces were inconsistent

Sometimes you poured out big chunks which required more water and other times you poured out a lot of crumbs requiring less water. I learned to adapt to get the consistency my girl prefers. I’ll try other flavors next time.

I have two German shepherds and always try to get fresh organ meat. It shouldn’t be as difficult as it is. That’s why I am pleased to see. King Lou Complete Raw Food Lamb Freeze-Dried Dog Food. Not only does it provide the protein that is unfortunately missing in kibbles these days, but It was devoured. I did not realize that it was 85% powder and only a few solid pieces for them to enjoy as treats. Nonetheless, they enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend this product. Chewy definitely has a great selection for every pet and purse. They are awesome.
