KOHA Pure Shreds Chicken Breast Entrée Grain-Free Wet Cat Food (2.8-oz can, case of 24) This KOHA entrée delivers exactly what it promises—pure, shredded chicken with no fillers or unnecessary extras. I appreciated the simplicity of the ingredients, especially for cats with sensitive stomachs or picky palates. It’s grain-free, protein-rich, and looks like real food, which is always a plus. That said, it was a mixed response in my household. Some of my cats enjoyed it and cleaned their bowls, while others weren’t as enthusiastic. If your cats prefer straightforward, single-protein meals, this might be a hit. Just keep in mind that not every feline may be won over by the minimalist approach.

Pete the Cat is a 10yo tortie with a finicky belly. She (yes, Pete's a she...son named her after Pete the Cat book series) is on a specific diet - as close to natural as possible and no beef. We've tried the Kona brand before with mixed results, but this version is the cat's meow! Upon opening the can, she was treated to a perfect mix of shredded chicken and veggies with a light broth. It smelled so good - reminiscent of my late-Jewish grandmother's homemade chicken noodle soup. First can had her drinking all the broth and leaving the goodness behind... second can was served drained of the broth (yes, she was slighted and no, she's not deprived) and Sister Kitty was granted entrance into the clean bowl club! Side Note: Pete normally eats Fancy Feast Naturals Whitefish, Tuna, or Chicken. Kona had virtually the same ingredients with fewer calories. That's a win-win-win for my girl!

Good quality. The can we extremely sturdy. The food had a strong smell, not off putting. Very liquidy which is either good or bad depending on if your cat needs

Smells like something I would eat

I have 3 cats and my orange and grey loved this food. It has lots of broth, which I love because to me liquid = healthy kidneys! Upon opening we noticed how good

Food looks like natural/whole food with shredded chicken and carrots. Half a can was gobbled up immediately. We will keep this in rotation.

I have 4 cats and they range from “I’ll eat anything” to “I’m very fussy”. On the first day everyone was excited to try something new but I always wait to see if

After the second try only 2 of the cats still liked it. It is almost like a soup with chicken in it. They are used to pate so maybe that’s why they didn’t like it.
