Great food! Great ingredients!

I am really happy with the “KOHA Pure Shreds for Cats” wet cat food. I ordered the Shredded Chicken Breast & Salmon Entree with Superfoods in a Savory Broth.” There were 12 cans in the case. What really attracted me to this food is that it is in a savory broth. It serves 2 purposes for me. Not only does my cat George love chicken and salmon, but many times I add broth to his dry food at night. Both the food and the broth were a big hit with George. I decided to bring some of this food to my son’s home as he has 4 cats. 2 are picky eaters. 3 out of the 4 cats loved this food and tried stealing it from their smaller siblings who ate slower. The 4th cat (Mr Picky the Drama King as I call him), showed zero interest in the food after smelling it for some time. Surprisingly, I added some of the broth to his dry food and he loved it. He’s a crazy boy. I would highly recommend this food, especially if you purchase broth separately for your cats dry food. I love how it has great ingredients in it. There are NO fillers and it’s pea and potato FREE. KOHA promotes health and wellness and on the box it states, “Minimal Ingredients - Optimal Health.” Also, “KOHA Pure Shreds Shredded Chicken Breast & Salmon Entree Cat Food” is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for Maintenance. I ALWAYS look for this “stamp of approval” when purchasing any cat food.

My cats love, love Koha Pure Shreds!!

Koha Pure Shreds Shredded Chicken Breast Salmon Entree looks so yummy and appealing that I was tempted to try it!! Their very first listed ingredient is chicken broth. Then there is chicken, pumpkin, carrots and and salmon to name a few of the healthy ingredients added. Plus all the vitamins and minerals they added! Koha Pure Sheds Shreds is pea and potato free. Also. It has no fillers or preservatives. Their motto is"Minimum Ingredients -Optimal Health. What i know is that my cats, Bebe. Spook, and Salem wanted more and it was gone 1-2-3. Forest only liked the broth and Kay didn't even want to try it. She is a pate girl. Would I recommend Koha Pure Shreds Shredded Chicken Breast & Salmon Entree? You bet I would!!

Great food, just needed a little tweak

I have 8 cats, and about half of them absolutely love this Koha Shredded Chicken cat food. The flavor (especially the gravy!) is a big hit. The only issue I noticed

I have 8 cats, and about half of them absolutely love this Koha Shredded Chicken cat food. The flavor (especially the gravy!) is a big hit. The only issue I noticed is that the shredded chicken pieces are a bit large, and some of my cats left them behind. To fix that, I started putting the can’s contents into my mini food chopper to break up the chicken a bit before serving. Once I did that, they cleaned their bowls! I like that the can is a good size to split between multiple cats, and the price point feels fair for the quality. I definitely recommend this food — just be prepared to chop up the chicken if your cats prefer smaller pieces. My pictures show the chicken before chopping it up.

This canned food certainly checks a lot of boxes! Real ingredients, with chicken and salmon both close to the top of the ingredients list. No preservatives. No grains

This canned food certainly checks a lot of boxes! Real ingredients, with chicken and salmon both close to the top of the ingredients list. No preservatives. No grains. The food also looks relatively appealing! It does seem to be a little on the oily side, but my cat enjoyed it nonetheless. Unfortunately, my senior cat has a very sensitive stomach and this did not seem to agree with him, but I would definitely recommend it to someone looking to try a new food for their cat.

Initially, our cats weren't sure about the switch from chunks to shreds (wow, what a gross-sounding sentence), but after a few feedings they are absolutely hooked on this food. We like that it adds more water to their diets (it's VERY saucy), and the smell isn't as strong as most cat foods (almost chicken soup-esque). Only docking one star because, since the food itself is so soupy, it makes a larger than average mess in (and sometimes out) of the cat bowls.

Looks & smells delicious but my girls didn't agree

I was very excited about this product. It is visually appealing to me as a human. Also, the smell was very good not like usual cat food smell. To me it smelled

I was very excited about this product. It is visually appealing to me as a human. Also, the smell was very good not like usual cat food smell. To me it smelled and looked like something I would eat - it even had the nice oil bubbles like when I make homemade chicken soup. The ingredients also seemed healthful and tasty - chicken, pumpkin, carrots. My two girls ate their initial portions completely. So did my boy. However, my two girls would not eat it again after their first try. My boy eats it but does leave a little in the bowl.

I love that these come in small can, love that its almost human grade, and my cat loves them. But unfortunately for het they dont love her back. She vomitswith in 10 minutes of esting a can. My other cats do not mind one bit, they love the food, and no problems with them.

Mmmm Meowy Good

I wasn't sure my Minnaloushe & Mimi would like this food because they always eat pate. But to my surprise they love the shreds. It has a nice aroma, not too fishy

I wasn't sure my Minnaloushe & Mimi would like this food because they always eat pate. But to my surprise they love the shreds. It has a nice aroma, not too fishy with a bit of paw licking gravy. I did find that I needed to increase their portion size because it didn't fill them up as much as their usual pate. It is a tasty treat that they do enjoy very much.

Love the shredded chicken

My cat loved this food. I like how it was shredded; it makes it so easy to serve. Although, the portion is too much for one cat that I would have to split a can
