Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

This has to be not only my favorite but also my dogs favorite Kong toy. So many different ways to set this toy up. On hot summer days I stuff it with kibbles and treats, seal it with yogurt and pop it in the freezer. A great way to cool down. This item is made from a firm but soft rubber. Great for teething and satifies the need to chew.
I do not leave the this toy out once it's empty and my dog has finished with it. I do this to prolong it's life; I can see it being chewed to bits if left out all the time. This toy is easy to clean and can go in the dishwasher. I personally always put it on the top rack of the dishwasher.
Novel idea, but my dog won't go near it

My dog never did like rubber toys so I was hesitant to purchase this but wanted something for him to do while I was away at work. Just as I suspected, he didn't go near it. I tried to get him interested in the treats inside, but no luck. I called the manufacturer and explained about the strong rubber smell, which is why I assume he doesn't like it. She explained to soak it in tepid water with a few drops of vanilla extract over night. It did take the smell away but only for a while. My dog still wouldn't touch it even when it smelled less rubbery. She told me to call back if it didn't solve the problem. I haven't called back yet, but I will. The toy is very sturdy. I have a 20 lb maltese mix and bought a size small b/c here on the website it says use small size for up to 20 lbs. But on the instructions inside the package it says for Maltese use x-small, which I agree, the x-small would have been better for the size of his mouth. I think most dogs would like this toy if they don't mind other rubber toys.… more
Depends on the treats

So after a lot of consideration, I got this for my 7 month great dane pup. He gets bored easy & I wanted something to keep his attention. He's all about it as long as there's treats in it, but as soon as he gets them all out, he loses interest in it. I wouldn't classify this as a "chew" toy, if that's what you're looking for. I know there's a spray peanut butter you can put inside the toy, but that just seems like a big mess to me. It's not a bad product, but probably not something I'd buy again.

I ordered this Kong to replace one that was becoming worn and splitting. Though I ordered the same size, the one I just received is signficantly smaller. Apparently Kong has gone the way of so many manufacturers, maximizing profits by cutting the size. The hole on this one is so much smaller it will be a challenge loading in the treats and the smaller size will let my dog get a stronger chew on it, meaning it will not last as long. Oh well, guess I will have to look at other products.
It's still going strong

We have a 6 month old Bernese Mountain Dog and he was chewing through everything (even the tough toys he wasn't supposed to chew through). The mornings are challenging as he's rearing to go and we (including our 14 year old Aussie) are not. So we try to give him something to keep himself occupied with. This does it! We do put the treats in it (have not tried any of the other ones but will). We have been using KONG Stuff'N Peanut Butter Snacks Dog Treats which keep him busy and us happy!
I've been using Kong for years

I've been using Kong's for years. When my puppy chewed the end off of the old one I decided it was time for his own Kong (the old one was a small 9 year old puppy model). I bought the regular size adult dog model for my 4 month old 20 lb puppy and I was a little disappointed that he was able to leave teeth marks on it after the first day. I doubt this one is going to last 9 years...
I love the versatility and durability of Kongs.
Great for a really large dog!

Bought this for our 100 lb English Labrador. She has managed to. chew through 2 of the black Kong's, so I tried this one. I give her peanut butter inside as her last treat for the evening. The only problem with this size is that the hole is much larger than the ones she chewed the top off of, so the peanut butter is gone in a flash. It might be better for stuffing with another type of treat.
Doesn't get any better than Kong

To say I am a fan of the Kong products is an understatement. My dog is a destroying machine and he's never even put a dent in a Kong. I fill these with food and freeze them for a special treat when he's left alone and it's basically saved our life and made crate training a success. We vary the size depending on how long he's going to be alone for, so we have a ton of these.
Best Toy U Can Get Your Dog

The kong is your best investment for your dog if you know how to probably use it you can keep your dog or pup out of trouble while away from home also not to worry if your dog will choke on a peace of bone and you can do a thing about it . Chewy has the best price so far on any of their product products. My german Shepherd goes crazy for his kong

I bought this toy in small and medium because I was worried that my big dog would suddenly like peanut butter because my litt one was eating it. He used the medium with cream cheese in it but not peanut butter. The little dog is a chewer and highly food motivated. She loves it and though I wasn't sure she would be okay, she really does love it.
