My hyper, teething puppy wants to play and wants to chew on everything from your shoe to your nose. Prefers your clothes and body over the 20 chew toys I've bought her. A friend recommended filling a KONG with peanut butter. My pup was busy for an hour chewing and playing with it! This doesn't replace playing but it does replace when she gets over stimulated and just wants to chew and bite. I'm ordering 5 more so that I always have a clean one on hand.

Almost every dog I know has loved these. I fill them with high quality canned dog food, or else I puree chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and a little filtered water to make a slurry that I fill them with and freeze them. Then I pull them out and let the dogs chew on these as a treat. Much better than something super hard. I used to give my dogs bully sticks or things like that until my dog broke her tooth (right after my vet warned me that she didn't like to give her dogs something as hard as that but I thought, "what are the odds?") and my dog had to have an expensive tooth extraction. So, I moved on to these. Great product, dishwasher safe for the top basket.

Our golden retriever (75 pounds) has a large Kong, we recently got him and XL thinking it would keep him occupied for longer. The XL actually has a bigger opening too so more food comes out, so it doesn't really last any longer. More importantly, at least for our goofy pup, he throws his Kong up and drops it to loosen up the food and it sounds/feels like an earthquake every time he drops it, "BOOM, BOOM." Stick with large Kongs, no bigger.

My pit bull pup loves his Kong ball. When he’s a really good boy, I stuff a little peanut butter inside and it keeps him occupied for about 45 mins. He’s had it for a little over 3 weeks and has not destroyed it yet. Every other toy I’ve purchased for him he has completely demolished before the day was even over. I will continue to purchase the Kong brand.

This is a poor design. The hole is way too small for my dog to get his tongue into. I had to break up the treats with a knife after 2 days. I couldn’t get my finger in to break them up! Maybe only peanut butter but that is messy. I have soft treats and treats made for the Kong. Neither worked. I was replacing a medium sized one that I left at my Mom’s. I will have to get another medium one!

My dogs are notorious for tearing apart chew toys fairly quickly, so I thought anything less than the Kong Extreme wouldn't hold up. This one is more squishy than the extreme but they seem to like that and haven't been able to tear it up yet. Of course, as an added bonus, they love having peanut butter put in it (when we leave or if they're just being annoying). Great investment!

My puppy loves this. I fill the end with Peanut butter and give it to her in her Cage/kennel when I leave the house. She associates this with her kennel thing and I can leave the house without her wailing/barking/etc. The only negative thing I can say is that I don't know how to clean it. A little bit of peanut butter dries up and I cant reach it to clean. She, however, loves the toy as she even takes it out of the cage and brings it around the house to play with it. I'd buy again!

My dog, a boxer/pit, destroys every single two you hand to him. We bought him a rubber tire toy and he shredded it within fifteen minutes. He tears through basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, and everything in between, because of how powerful he is. I bought this and it’s been going on strong for over a month! He loves it and will play fetch for as long as your arm can handle it and then some.

My dog loves trying to get kibble and other special treats out of the Kong. It is fun to watch him figure out the best way to get the food out. He has finally figured out that if he drops it a certain way it makes the food come out easily. When the Kong is empty on the other hand. He doesn’t even get the toy out of the basket.

Pay attention to the size measurements. If you have a big breed dog, just get the medium if they're really young, then a large/extra large- they'll grow into it fast. Super durable, super fun. My only issue is cleaning it, as I haven't found a great way yet. But for the price, you can't go wrong! I also recommend the Kong BALL as well.
