  • Way too small!

    By on

I'm not sure if Kong made these smaller or what but I ordered this one and a puppy one to replace an old Kong my puppy has. I ordered the small as I know I didn't get him a large last time ( he's a 10 month old pug the large is bigger than his mouth) and the medium as well is to big. When I received this I was shocked it's so small even for him! It's also way to small for the kong stuff treats even though on the package it says it fits small kongs. I now have a treat stuck inside it that neither myself or my pup can get out. Will be donating the other to a shelter and purchasing something else for my pup to play with.

  • Both are lasting FOREVER

    By on

We bought these a while ago for our large dogs (for reference 40lb Lab/Pit mix and 60lb GSD). Our Lab/Pit mix is a CRAZY chewer and I had a really hard time finding her something that would last, kept her interest, and wasn't cloth or rawhide. These are worth every penny. I stuff them with the shaped cookies they sell or with peanut butter, wet food..anything that will stick in there. They go nuts and it keeps them busy for a long time. Neither have any teeth marks or cracks so they are definitely durable. It's so fun to watch their minds work and figure out how to get the treats out. My GSD is a more dainty chewer but he still chews these so they aren't too rough for the more sensitive guys We bought these a while ago for our large dogs (for reference 40lb Lab/Pit mix and 60lb GSD). • Ended up in the trash

Please only buy this for a toy breed or a chihuahua.. I love Kong and everything but this is WAY too small. I couldn’t even give it to my 4 month old puppy because I was scared she would choke on it. It is smaller than the palm of my hand and I couldn’t even fit my pinkie finger in it. I thought extra small would be a good size because I didn’t want to give my dog too many treats, later found out the medium size would have been better. My dog was 15 lbs at the time and she is a bully breed so I figured an extra small would be good due to her short snout, I was VERY wrong..

  • Best Buy, Lasts Forever

    By on

I bought my puppies their first Kong at 4 months. Now they're 7 months and we just bought the bigger size. These are excellent chew toys, and if you stuff them with Ziggies or other treats, the pups are occupied for a good bit. Someone told me to put peanut butter inside and FREEZE them. This is a absolutely hit with my pups. Also easy cleaning on top rack of dishwasher. P.S. They STILL have their "baby" Kongs, which are fully whole with no missing chunks and very little visible wear.

  • Had No Idea They'd Be So Small

    By on

I ordered 4 Small red Kongs that are recommended for dogs up to 20 lbs. My dogs are around 15 lbs. I was shocked to see how small these Small ones are! I can't imagine how they could make a Kong any smaller- and there's still an X-Small! Not much difference in the dimensions, which you can find if you scroll down and look on the right. But on the packaging, there's the size but no dimensions. I can put about 12 pieces of dry kibble into each Small Kong- not much! They're still sturdy, so that's why I'm giving them a 3, but Kong needs to put the dimensions on the packaging, too. In the video, there are 4 sizes lined up next to each other. The smallest looks larger than the Smalls that I got I ordered 4 Small red Kongs that are recommended for dogs up to 20 lbs. My dogs are around 15 lbs. • Sasha loves the 4 kings we got

    By on

My wife and I are planning on going on the road in a semi truck full time and going "Houseless." I decided I'd get 4 kong balls to start training Sasha to keep herself entertained while we are at a truck stop and go inside to shower and be out of the truck for longer periods of time. Also I think it will be a good tool to use to feed her the amount of food she will get throughout the day. I say that if you want to give your dog a challenge and something to keep busy for a while. Buy kong balls and learn the different skill levels to train your dog to use them properly. And the bonus to buying them on chewy.com is that they are around half the price than in a store.

  • She loves this toy

    By on

We got the small for our Tippy, a small chihauhau/beagle. Seeing as she is 12 years old, I wanted her to get more exercize, so i bought a kong toy for her. I fill it with some of the delicious food from your site, and plug the end with a treat from your site, and she goes crazy. She wrestles with it, eats up the treat in stages, flinging around the toy, then gets to the food inside. I think its one of her favourite things she does all day!

  • Perfect for hours of entertainment

    By on

Both my boys my little shitzu & my shepherd mutt loooooove their kongs. I put a little bit of peanut butter in them and they love it, even spend hours with this toy after eating all of it. Keeps them busy and it’s durable. My shepherd always spends more time with it & likes to try to chew on it to the inside to see if there’s any more peanut butter lol but he hasn’t been able to chew through it at all. Highly recommend!

  • My dogs and I love Chewy

    By on

I have always bought Kong. This is only the second Kong classic my dog has chewed up in less than a half-hour. The first one was the big black Tire and this when used to be her favorite one listed on the picture but I believe I bought the wrong size so it was easier for her to tear apart. This will not stop me from buying from chewy or Kong. Very happy with the service and the promptness. Happy shopping. Markboysgirl

  • Highly Recommend

My 1 year old dog is a mixture of lab and beagle. His nose is constantly getting him into trouble. I bought this and he absolutely loves it. I put it in with him in his kennel when I’m away or give it to him to play. He has figured out that if he throws it in the air the treats will pop out. He will play for a good 20 minutes straight trying to get the treats out and chasing it around the house. It’s entertaining for him and just as entertaining to watch. I would recommend to anyone with a dog that constantly needs something to stay busy.
