Is the hole in the base the same diameter on all the different sizes?
Answer by ChewyMar 21, 2018
The hole in the base is approximately 1 inch in diameter on all the sizes.

If your dog is Between sizes, would you go up or down? Our lab is ~60 lbs, but also not yet fully grown. It’s hard to say if he’s maxed out on his weight and height (9 months old). He’s an aggressive chewer, and I’m trying to find the best balance between challenging and “give up” if it’s too much.
Answer by ChewyNov 11, 2019
If your pet is an avid chewer, or in-between sizes, it's recommended to size up by one or two sizes.

what is the length and width of all sizes
Answer by ChewyDec 26, 2018
The dimensions for the Small size is 3 x 1.75 inches, the Medium size is 3.5 x 2.25 inches, the Large is 4 x 2.5 inches, the X-Large is 5 x 3.5 inches and the XX-Large is 6 x 3.9 inches.

Are they BPA free?
Answer by ChewyJul 20, 2019
KONG toys are BPA-free.

Too big for treats

I thought I was ordering the size that works with the treats I ordered. My dog is 81# and a VERY aggressive toy chewer. His kong binky has been his favorite forever so I was certain this and the kong bone for aggressive chewers would be a great fit. The XXL is simply too big for the treats, and the black bone too small. I’m not sure if the L/XL would be the right size for the komg treats? Treats fall out immediately so no “playtime” at all. Disappointed

Holding up to my crazy Puppy

My family has been thrilled with this Kong. Leo are darling has a history of destroying toys and then ending up at the vet with Stomach trouble. This kong has held up. The only negative is that dog teeth on the toy can sound like nails on a chalkboard when he gets going with the chew.

Can't Get Stuck!!!

This toy is the BEST! Wish I had bought it months ago. First of all it's a KONG and my avid chewer can not destroy it. The BEST part is that it is so big that it can not go under couches, wall units, or furniture. My dog and I do not lose it! It is fantastic! I wish KONG would invent a ball the same size (extreme chew toy) that can be rolled on tile floors or outdoors for the chase. I think my dog would love this! This is a great toy and worth every penny!

My dogs love Kong toys!

Like all the Kong toys we've had before these, they're great. My dogs know that 4pm every day is "Kong Time!" when I give them their Kongs with the inside smeared with some peanut butter and a dog biskit stuffed in. My only complaint, and it's only my own fault, is that I meant to get the Large size. The size I accidentally bought is the XL, one size up from what I really wanted. Buying Kong toys is confusing because the measurement doesn't say whether it's the height of the toy or the width of the base. I do wish that was clearer - because then I would have known to buy L and not XL. The Large size works with both my Sheltie and Rottweiler. The XL is a little too big for my Sheltie, but she thinks she's a "big dog" so she likes it anyway.

All Depends on Dogs Obsession

Was great for our APBT, but he wasn’t much of a chewer unless it was some food involved. Our 8 month old 1/2 American Bully 1/2 Staffy made quick work of it. She was obsessed with it and chewed off about 1/4 inch off the top before we noticed. If you have a super power chewer the life of the kong is dependent on their obsession with it.

Kong dog toy

Jude throws this around sometimes kind of like she plays with a ball. I tried filling it with peanut butter but it was very hard to clean afterwards. I don't give her anything that I wouldn't eat so no spray cheese or whipped cream.

Perfect for my chewer pitt

My 65 pound pittie boy loves his kong. He loves to lick the filling out and chew on it once it’s empty and it’s held up really well so far.

I use this everyday for a 1 year old lab. I put a treat in and it occupies her while also rewarding her. She will play with it even if there isn't a treat in it. Easy to rinse off and wash.

Tough to the extreme

This Kong holds up pretty well with an aggressive chewer. One of the few toys that last longer than a couple days. Adding peanut butter or cream cheese makes it a fun treat that will keep pup occupied for a bit.

Not for my dog

Duke is an aggressive chewer. This was mangled within a week. I think the problem is the hole to put treats in. Once he gets a tooth in the hole he can shred it.
