KONG Extreme Dog Toy

I already had a large Extreme Kong for my dog (a 50 pound lab mix) but wanted a spare. At least I remembered it being a large. I measured its dimensions with a ruler & the size matched the description on Chewy.com, so I ordered it. What came in the packaging, although labelled 'large' was a size smaller than the Kong we already had. So I ordered an Extra-Large from a different company. This is, as expected, a size larger than the Kong I had. I would rather my dog use a too-big than a non-small Kong as I do not want him to choke! I will give the mis-labelled Kong to the local pet shelter.

I highly recommend this toy to anyone who has a dog that loves to chew. My dog has had many different toys and she has destroyed them all. The kong extreme toy she hasn't destroyed yet. You can put a favorite treat inside and let,them roll it to get the treat or u can just let them play with it with no treats. My dog,and several of my parents dogs love the kong extreme dog toy.

We recently got a 10 month old puppy from the shelter and right off the bat we found out he's a chewer. Put a call out to friends on social media. Help! What toy will keep him entertained? Almost everyone said you have to get the Kong! Got the big one because he's now a year old and 80lbs. He loves all the goodies we stuff inside and likes to play fetch with it when empty.

Last year I purchased 2 extreme Kong’s that lasted about 6-8 months, and my dog destroys everything. So once those were destroyed I purchased three new ones (same as the previous) and so far I’ve given her two and both of which she has pulled apart within the first day of play. I don’t know if they are made differently now but I’m not so sure I’ll buy them again.

I have a 2 year old Lab/Pit mix tripod who’s a very heavy chewer and loves to play all day. He hasn’t put it down since I unpackaged it lol I thought it would be difficult for him to play with but nothing ever really is. Highly recommended

Pretty much the only chew toy I found that is safe for my dog's teeth and unable to be destroyed quickly. Hard items like antlers can damage dog teeth and plastic like toys get destroyed instantly by my extreme 40 lb chewer. If you're looking for the most dirable and safe toy, this is it.

Love at first bite !! I have a multi-dog home, and all of the young adult dogs love playing with it, and chewing on it. Although my dogs are very strong chewers, so far there is absolutely no evidence of any damage to this toy !! I also love how easy this toy is to clean. This toy will last a long time, and is very well worth the price !!

I have a 8 month old mini Aussie mix. Every other toy I get him he eats within a day sometimes 10 minutes. He’s had this about a month and it has held up well. He loves his Kong! So glad we bought this! When this finally gets destroyed we will be replacing! Plan on buying the Kong extreme ball as well.

Our puppy is very food focused, so hasn’t challenged the durability of the toy like others reviewing. He knows he can get what he wants with clever tongue moves and then can play with the rolly toy until he moves on to his next adventure.

We have been giving Jenna (our boxer/ridgeback) this toy for 6 years. Everyday she gets the toy with a Zukes treat inside, usually around 5 o’clock. She works, plays, throws and chews this thing. She normally will let us know when it’s 5 o’clock. Lol. She loves this!!! It doesn’t last forever, but Jenna has a very strong bite and we have to replace it about ever year to year and a half. She is extremely satisfied after getting her evening treat. And much better behaved.
