Not a great seat for a puppy

I chose this seat because I love other Kong products (classic kongs, squeakair balls, and cozy kong stuffies) but I was SO disappointed. The seat belt that goes

I chose this seat because I love other Kong products (classic kongs, squeakair balls, and cozy kong stuffies) but I was SO disappointed. The seat belt that goes around the chair back would loosen from its place and slide down and then the seat would only be held up by the loop that goes around the headrest. Then the clasp that connects the headrest loop to the side of the seat has a spring that broke off so now it will not hold the seat. The seat is now just a small box that holds extra toys and snacks since it cannot be used for its original purchase.

Safety Concern

I’ve had this seat for months and given it every chance I could…and wanted to double triple check that I wasn’t using it wrong…but I can’t recommend this due to

I’ve had this seat for months and given it every chance I could…and wanted to double triple check that I wasn’t using it wrong…but I can’t recommend this due to safety. The straps do not stay in place on the car back…strap sliding has caused me to have to catch my pup from falling out while I’m driving or caused me to pull over numerous times to adjust it. It’s become scary!

We took a long trip with our puppy and he fussed just a little in the beginning, but then started looking out the window and eventually laid down and went to sleep

Bella says it's a 10+++

I had a lot of trouble getting the bottom strap secured behind the seat in my pickup. The pickup seat will not move forward and the back of the seat will not lean

I had a lot of trouble getting the bottom strap secured behind the seat in my pickup. The pickup seat will not move forward and the back of the seat will not lean forward. I finally got it secured, but my hands look like I was in a boxing match. You might want to be sure you have easy access around the seat you plan to use before purchasing this item. However, my tiny little Bella loves this seat, which makes it all ok. I added a small pillow and a blanket to boost her up high enough to see over the basket. She loves to look out the window as we travel and I feel she is secure in the booster seat with the tether attached to her harness.
