I use these in a Kong Bone, and they are great. Takes my dog a while to get through them, but he is happy with them every time. Definitely recommend for dogs that need attention and stimulation to keep them out of trouble.
I ordered extra small because we had 2 new pups, but man, these were super small! Could hardly get anything in them, then the pups couldn't get anything out! Should've ordered a little larger ones I guess.
The dogs really like these, it is nice they fit in so snug to the kong but i've found it impossible to get out of the kong to make it easier for them to accessor even to clean it.
In seconds, the Ziggie has been consumed and the dog has not be soothed or distracted in the least by the kong toy. Save a ton of money and put some peanut butter or banana in the kong.
My dog didn’t care for these and they also do not fit in the puppy size kong. They stick way out so the dog just grabs it. I put some peanut butter and one of these in (to make it stay inside the kong) and my dog just licked the peanut butter and moved on to a different toy
My puppy loves these. It's a great change from stuffing the Kong with peanut butter.
These are definitely Alice approved. Like others have said, the stick is a little longer than the small Kong, but that just gives her something extra to chew on. If she gets frustrated with it getting stuck inside the Kong, I just push a little more out using a crochet hook.
As others have noted, these sticks are longer than the Kong (the Small sized one, anyway) and about half of them stick out when inserted. My pup will nibble away at it, but not try to get the rest of it out of the Kong or otherwise figure out the Kong as a food puzzle at all. In my opinion, the Kong spray chicken liver stuff is better (and you only need a little), especially for a small breed dog.
I would buy them again. I broke them into smaller pieces for longevity
Seemed like a great idea for xsmall and small kongs which are harder to stuff with goodies but our pup moved on quickly so we are going to try larger kongs and see if we can get more interest as she loves food and treats so.. everything is trial at this stage
