Unless you have the cage do not buy
I bought this to use as a potty tray to try to protect my floors. I used pads to layer inside of it but it got so rusted so fast. No matter how fast I cleaned it or how much I scrubbed, the tarnish rust would not come out. I sadly wasted my money and had to toss because I had no use for it. Unless you have the actual cage and going to use this as a replacement tray, do not try to be creative and use it for anything else. I would also reconsider buying a different brand because this thing rusts and tarnished super fast.

Perfect fit for my dog's crate, feels very sturdy and my dog will not chew is for sure
what we needed
We needed a tray that our dog would not chew through. Not sure why she chewed the plastic tray in the first place for the first time but it was destroyed quickly and we needed to get another. Obviously more expensive than a plastic tray but we shouldn't have to replace it again. It wasn't shipped as quickly as chewy food orders, had a few dents, and is noisier than a plastic one but it's heavy duty and hopefully indestructible which is what we were looking for.
great for a few months but starting to rust
Bought in April of 2021, it’s not October 2021 and the tray is starting to rust in spots. It’s great other than the rust. But having to replace it now. And it wasn’t that cheap.
Wore down quickly
I would not recommend this tray. After a couple of months it wore down (see pic) plus it has a heavy metal smell to it. Called Chewy & they were great about giving me a refund.
HORRIBLE PRODUCT
Any amount of moisture and this pan rusts like crazy. It's made for DOGS. They're gonna have water bowls. Wet paws. Tongues?! Absolutely horrible product. Having to paint the entire thing with special paint. My dog is rust colored because of this garbage product. HUGE waste of money DO NOT BUY THIS. It started to rust within a month. For $60?????????? Huge waste.
Pitsky escape artist
This tray has been such a help for us! Our pitsky hates being caged and always finds a way to escape! Including by somehow managing to break the plastic tray his cage originally came with! He was hesitant to get on the metal at first, but now he has no problem with it. It’s perfect for this challenging boy!
Great tray but turned my yellow Lab gray
My naughty yellow Labrador has eaten multiple plastic crate pans. This pan is perfect for her other than the fact it has turned her a steel gray color. I am having the pans powder coated to keep it from discoloring her in the Future. However the powder coating treatment is costing me $140 for the 2 trays I bought. I wish chewy had a stainless steel option.
Kennel liner
This liner came with the bent edge right out of the box not worth the money my husky went through two of the original plastic liner so we bought this hoping it would work but she won’t even go in it she doesn’t like it. That’s
Perfect for chewers and great price
Perfect for those dogs that are chewers. After our mischievous girl chewed up 2 of the plastic ones (which cost more than this one) we found this metal one. Great price and she hasn't even attempted to naw on it.
