Insanity then Crash
We tried these to ease anxiety and stress for our 1yo mastiff/Newfoundland puppy during daycare and to help her wind down at night. After trying a few different brands and types of calming treats, we determined that the ingredients in this, we think the L-thanoline, didn’t work for her. After giving her one or two of these chiller bones, she would get a shot of adrenaline for about 15-20 minutes and then she crashed. The drastic change in behavior with these made us look for another solution. We switched her from these to Charlotte’s Web CBD calming treats and now she calms down and relaxes in a more even and mellow manner - there’s no spike of energy with crazy zoomies followed by a crash.
Good flavor? But strange side effect!
So my 5 (almost 6) month old puppy recently tried these--they were obviously too big for him, so we broke one bone into 4 equal pieces for him to try while we're running errands, or using the vacuum, or after vigorous play time and when he's struggling to wind down. We only ever gave him one segment per day. He did appear to enjoy the flavor? Each time, he also did appear to calm down (slightly) however after about 30-45 min of eating the piece, he'd pee his bed...which (and I swear I'm not lying) never ever happens. Thinking this was a fluke, we tried over the course of a mother couple days. Same thing. So we're hitting pause on this treat, as it seems to relax more than his mood...
not long lasting as it states!
I am very disappointed! These emphasize LONG lasting!! My small dogs had it gone in 20 min or less! Thank God for Chewy! But I’m very disappointed in the company that makes them! They should not advertise long lasting when they are not! If my small dogs can eat one this fast, I’m sure a big dog could eat it even faster!!! I do not recommend these at all!

Love these calming treats. Gave to my pup to help with a cross-country move and she was much more relaxed in her new environment, even with several people coming in and out of the house.
Did not work for my lab puppy
Unfortunately, these biscuits did not calm my 6 month old lab puppy at all. I fed him two as directed for his weight and he was still crazy at Thanksgiving. If you have a high energy dog, I would pass on these treats. My dog did like the taste of them and they are nice size treat, just no calming effect that we noticed.
My Dog Loves Kradle
Just tried these new bones for my dog Sadie and she gobbled them up last evening. I was finally able to sit down and watch Yellowstone - phewww!
Great for seperation issues
I have purchased these at Pet Supplies Plus and am happy to see on Chewy! I give my dog a chiller when I am leaving. She takes the bone to her spot and then doesn't even notice that I am leaving. The calming ingredients have also helped with her separation issues.
