People having trouble with their chickens learning how to deal with the berry pellet. Break them up and put in a pan the first 2-3 times they give to their chickens. After that the chickens know what they are and will break up the berry on their own. Remember these are mostly filler or junk calories 40 to 50 percent Corn, corn syrup, corn oil, wheat flour, maltodextrin, ground rice, glycerin are high energy sugars and starches. Once two twice a week max for a treat not a daily supplement. Should be a lot cheaper for the amount of corn that is in them.

My flock is obsessed!

All of my chickens absolutely LOVED the Lafeber Booster Berries! And I mean all of them, no picky eaters here. As soon as they saw the bag come out, they came running

All of my chickens absolutely LOVED the Lafeber Booster Berries! And I mean all of them, no picky eaters here. As soon as they saw the bag come out, they came running. The color and smell are both really appealing, and the pellet size is just right for easy pecking. This is definitely more of a treat than a meal replacement, but it’s a fun and nutritious way to supplement their diet. It's too early to tell if it’s helped with egg production, but since the weather is warming up again, that’s naturally increasing too. My only complaint is I wish it came in a bigger bag! I’ll absolutely be buying more. If you want to win the title of favorite human in the coop, this is the treat to grab. Highly recommend!

My ladies and gentlemen loved these treats!!! They are the perfect size for them to easily break apart themselves. The egg shape is super cute. I like that it has larvae and flowers/herbs in them. Makes them a perfect snack during the winter when foraging is slim.

These supplements are supposed to encourage foraging and help to support egg laying chickens. It is an all natural product, with an innovative shape and interesting textures. I offered it twice to my chickens and both times they did not want it. I left it out all day and at the end of the day they hadn’t touched it although this item has a lot of good food in it my chickens didn’t care for it. .

Great portioned treat for hen enrichment

I tried out these booster pellets with my hens (along with some nosy ducks). They were all very excited to try them. My hens seemed to like the texture and flavor

I tried out these booster pellets with my hens (along with some nosy ducks). They were all very excited to try them. My hens seemed to like the texture and flavor. I like that they are larger pellets because it took the girls longer to eat them, it was easier to portion them, and the size and hardness kept my ducks from stealing them.

We fed our chickens these treats, and they took to them pretty quickly. At first it seemed the round balls of treat were not breaking up for them, but a few pecks later they were able to crack and enjoy them! This is why I say that it keeps them entertained, as they will not stop till they crack it!

Chicken Treats

I tried the treats but my chickens wouldn’t eat them. I’m not sure if it was due to the balls being so hard. Or my chickens are just plain picky. I thought it would

I tried the treats but my chickens wouldn’t eat them. I’m not sure if it was due to the balls being so hard. Or my chickens are just plain picky. I thought it would give them something to do with the ball size of them.
