Read the label, that mix straddles the line between treat and functional supplement. Here is the breakdown in plain terms Mostly filler or junk calories 40 to 50 percent Corn, corn syrup, corn oil, wheat flour, maltodextrin, ground rice, glycerin are high energy sugars and starches. Fine in moderation but not nutrient dense. Soybean meal is a protein source but heavy on processed plant protein. Neutral to moderately useful 30 percent Flaxseed, safflower, hulled oats, peanuts, pumpkin seeds are natural fats and fiber with decent amino acids. Good in small amounts. Ground limestone, dicalcium phosphate, oyster shells give strong calcium and phosphorus support. Clearly beneficial 20 to 25 percent Black soldier fly larvae, dried egg, algal oil give real animal protein and omega 3s, very good. Echinacea, marigold, cilantro give minor herbal enrichment and yolk color boost. Vitamin and mineral blend lysine, methionine, trace minerals, A E D3 Bs etc give standard layer support. So As an enrichment or treat, solid choice, not empty like scratch. As a daily feed replacement, too sweet and carb heavy, risk of fatty liver or imbalanced nutrition if overused. Think of it like a fortified energy bar, nice as a once or twice a week boost, not a meal plan.

the nutrition in the berries is great. I thought the ball form was great idea. Of my 11 chickens however only 3 liked the berries. I tried putting berries in with some pellet feed, they were ignored. I tried including some with some scratch and spread around, tried putting some berries in front of my chickens, tried a game of rolling the berries across the ground between a group of them. 3 of my chickens loved them and especially liked chasing them as rolled across the ground and claiming them as their prize. The rest just ignored them. For the 3 that ate them, they were more energetic, their feathers look deeper color and shinier coming off spring molt. would I recommend them? Based on the 3 that did eat them yes. Rated them a 3 because seems to be something that some chickens will like and some won't. My chickens in general aren't picky but for some reason only 3 of mine would eat them.

I've given these to my chickens a few times now. They do enjoy them and since they're in ball form they roll around and the chickens will chase them. They are pretty well stuck together so they had a hard time getting them apart and lost interest pretty quickly until I broke a few apart and they realized that they were food. Definitely good for enrichment but they do have a hard time getting them apart. I haven't used them enough to say whether or not they help with their feathers but the chickens definitely enjoy them. I do have ducks but they showed no interest.

Healthy, entertaining treats

My chickens have been cooped up recently due to bad weather and more prevalent hawks, so I was excited to get them a different kind of treat to keep them occupied when I’m giving them supervised free-range time. They were a bit perplexed at first but ended up loving them. I like that the “berries” are little clusters that break apart as the chickens peck at them, it seemed very engaging for them. They finished and left no crumbs! I think it’ll be a nice thing to give them when they have to be in the run as well.

Fluffier brighter feathers

I tried Booster Berries Radiate on my chickens and was really surprised how much of a change I saw in their feather growth. The chickens absolutely loved the berries. They were a little shabby after molting in the Fall and had not really grown their new feathers back. After using the Booster Berries I really noticed their plumage was brighter and fluffier. Best part the chickens just loved it.

I like this product because the chickens work on it a while; they can’t just gobble it up. The small disks are like little hard cookies; I toss in a handful and watch the chaos. They’ll carry them around and peck at them. My chickens were happy to eat these

These berries are filled with delicious ingredients. I gave some to my ladies and at first they were confused what to do with them. My boldest hen grabbed one and started banging it against a rock. She was able to eat all of the pieces. The rest of the flock weren't that interested until I broke them up into smaller pieces. They went crazy. Not one drop left.

My chickens loved it. Natural ingredients, fortified for nutrition, and easy to feed. We typically feed layer pellets and some appropriate table scraps/leftovers, with meal worms as a treat. I would say they loved these supplements as much as the meal worms and that is saying a lot!
