If I could go lower I would. Please don’t go this route!

I absolutely love treating my dog to a cold treat after her walk in sunny Arizona and have been faithful about buying the same brand of ice cream and made the HUGE mistake of buying a different brand. The consistency was completely off and the color. It was vanilla ice cream yet it looked like chocolate ice cream. It was thicker than molasses and hard to mix. When it was frozen I had to microwave it for 1 minute just to scoop it out. My dog licked it once and looked at me like I had completely let her down. She refused to eat it. I chocked it up to she was feeling picky or just not well. The next morning I look at the bowl and the “ice cream” is still there and was in perfect form as the night before. Not melted bit. I picked it up and it was a chunk of plastic basically. Had she ate it, I have no idea if she could have digested it and I would have very likely been at the vet hospital having it removed. I’m so disappointed in lazy dog ice cream company. I’ll never detour again from my Pooch Creamery, which is amazing! It is made from the same stuff my ice cream is made of, which is how it should be. This is not at all a reflection of Chewy though, they are just making options available and for that I’m thankful. Please don’t do this to your pup or your family though by purchasing Lazy Dog ice cream.

I mixed per instructions but it never hardened.

I ended up throwing it in the trash. Two days in the freezer and it was still watery.

Maybe!

They enjoyed it once they tried it. Didn't like it at first. Maybe the smell threw them off. But once they tasted it they liked it.

Doesn’t scoop well and dogs weren’t a fan

It is a very odd consistency and didn’t scoop well. Even when thawed. I don’t know what I was expecting either it being a dog product l, but my dogs weren’t huge

After freezing, this resulted in a brown (not vanilla color) rubbery hard mass. I had to put it in the microwave to soften it enough to spoon it out. Otherwise, had to use a knife to get any portion of it out of carton. I would not at all recommend it.

The dogs love it.

The ice cream is easy to mix and can be frozen if the dogs don’t finish it. The liked it more than their cake.
