My 10-and-a-half year old dog loves peanut butter and absolutely loves this ice cream, especially in the summer. I agree that discovering the perfect balance of water to find the correct consistency is the most difficult (but it really isn’t “difficult). We only give her one spoonful of the ice cream per evening, just like you see in the picture, to prevent stomach upset. This product is a great invention and a great find! It is worth a try for sure.

Not a winner in our house

I bought this as a treat for my senior girl who has since passed, to try to entice her to eat more. Unfortunately she wasn’t a fan, and neither is my new rescue

I bought this as a treat for my senior girl who has since passed, to try to entice her to eat more. Unfortunately she wasn’t a fan, and neither is my new rescue girl. But I love the concept! It definitely needs to sit out for a while before you try to scoop it. It’s harder than normal ice cream.

I bought this for my Labrador Retriever's third birthday. You have to add water to turn the powder into "ice cream". Then you put it in the freezer to get the ice cream consistency. After leaving it overnight in the freezer, it was too hard for Sam's birthday. I left it in the fridge and went to work. When I got home, it was a gloopie mixture. I put it over my two dogs' dinner, and they lapped it up. I guess it tasted good. Just getting the correct consistency was the issue that made me give it less than five stars.
