I have been purchasing 100% Wild salmon oil for several years now. I look for only 100% wild salmon oil and made in USA. I’m thinking I have bought between 4-5 different brands over all these years, Yuppers. 100% wild salmon oil, made in USA and best price. Every single brand has been top quality and very tasty (according to my 2 Airedales). This afternoon for lunch we opened the new bottle of Legitpet and these two licked and licked their bowls beyond clean they loved it so much! Apparently, not all these wild salmon oils are the same. They’re still licking. The product arrived very nicely and neatly packaged in a colorful cardboard box which held the quart of oil and a plastic bag with the pump. The box was also then wrapped in like a cellophane. And the bottle was safety sealed under the cap too. To top this incredible thoughtful packaging off, the bottle is hot pink like wow! I will definitely purchase Legitpet Wild Salmon Oil next time too. As long as they don’t change anything about it.

Turned to a Gel and Stopped working.

This products says to use within 90 days of opening, and in my case, that would be December 27, 2025. Today is December 6 and about two weeks ago the salmon oil

This products says to use within 90 days of opening, and in my case, that would be December 27, 2025. Today is December 6 and about two weeks ago the salmon oil turned to a gel and now my dog's skin has returned to being dry and very flaky. So the salon oil fell 5 weeks short or being effective. She is fed an ultra-premium dog food (not available on Chewy)so that's not the issue. In fact, even when on raw she had the flaky skin. The salmon oil worked until it turned to gel, so the good price is not so good considering all of this.

So far, so good. Abigail (Scottie and Jack Russell mix) loves her dinner and dances for it. With the salmon oil on her dry food she dances twice as fast. The oil does not seem to have a very strong smell, so I don’t mind dealing with it. I do not expect to see results for at least three weeks to a month. Hopefully her itches will be gone. She is taking the salmon oil at her veterinarian’s recommendation. The only negative seems to be the pump. It was very difficult to open the pump head before inserting the straw and placing in the bottle. There is no slip of paper with instructions and the open/close impression on the pump head is almost unreadable. Managed, but it was a fight. Basically, again, so far so good. Will update this review after a month of Abigail taking the oil.

My dogs love the flavor. One of my dogs’ coat has improved. Her skin was dry and flaky, and she shed a lot. Now the flakes are gone and she sheds less. Our other dog didn’t show improvement from itchy skin and heavy shedding, but I think his issue is allergies. We’ll keep using this brand.

Good for the skin, entices Lisha to eat, can't resist the smell!

The dogs get it daily, Lisha has a minor skin condition after having Lyme disease. The oil and oatmeal baths seem to help with the itchy skin. Ginger loves anything

I love this salmon oil. I have a German Shepherd that has a thick coat and she sheds A LOT. This salmon oil really helped to lessen the shedding and her coat is now super soft. I also have a black coated pitbull who has a bunch of allergies and this oil has helped his skin and coat immensely. He is now super shinny.
