Bought a few of these beds for our senior large pups- 75# and 125#. They are solid memory foam as stated. I wanted to make them even more waterproof so I wrapped the memory foam in a vinyl flannel backed table cloth and then put the cover on. They are holding up so far and they are holding there shape. The dogs fall right to sleep on them

Bed is well made. Cover is soft, washable and attractive. XXL is not 4 inches tall. It is 3 inches tall. Was replacing 4 inch tall beds for my elderly lab with orthopedic issues. I stack them to make it easier for him to get up to the floor. He needs the 8 inches. I will continue to look.

Perfect got the older big dog

This dog bed is just wonderful! I have two XL Labrador Retrievers over a hundred pounds each and they both love this bed. The male had hip dysplasia surgery as a pup and has trouble getting comfortable but he sleeps deeply on this bed and snores loudly! I opened the box as soon as it came and was able to get the mattress into the cover in less than a minute. The dogs were enjoying the bed within 10 minutes. As soon as I put it on the floor next to my computer, Bogey jumped on and went right to sleep. The firmness is perfect and the cover is nice and soft and fluffy. I highly recommend this product and will definitely purchase another. I have nothing bad to say about this bed.

Super comfy and water resistant.

I have a 14 year old 90 lb lab mix. He’s an old guy and let me tell u he loves his new bed. We put it in his crate (he loves his crate) and he goes and lays in it

I have a 14 year old 90 lb lab mix. He’s an old guy and let me tell u he loves his new bed. We put it in his crate (he loves his crate) and he goes and lays in it happily. I think it’s water resistant because our kitty cat did try to mark it the other day and I saw the small amount of pee floating on the top of the gray fabric. We cleaned it right up and took the cover off. The inside pillow was dry! No issues with washing and drying it. The gray outer cover is soft and as I said water resistant. It is a little thinner than some of the other ones I’ve purchased (reason for 4 stars instead of 5) but I like that it is a memory foam type of material instead of that egg crate stuff u will often get when you purchase these.

Being a dog dominate household, we have tried multiple orthopedic dog beds! Much to our surprise, this bed has turned into the most coveted item in the house! In comparison to other beds, this one offers high-quality materials, making it more durable and longer-lasting than other beds we have tried. Other than the soft enhanced plush comfort, the bed offers pressure point relief and joint support, which is beneficial our older dogs. My three dogs approve this message!

I wish I could give this very comfy, generously sized dog bed 5 stars, but here are the CONS (the pros will follow): 1. it has a chemically odor, I believe from the fabric of the cover (sides and/or bottom); if I can smell it I'm sure a dog can. 2. the box had super basic, limited-English instructions printed on the outside; there is no literature included in the box. 3. I had no way of knowing which side of the memory foam insert should be placed facing up or down; I used my brain to decide the waterproof-looking fabric side should probably face up. PROS: 1. generous size, approx 29"x40"; definitely enough for our mid-to-large sized Siberian Husky. 2. very comfy feeling memory foam; probably great for a senior dog (albeit very active still) like ours; no idea how long it will retain its bounce-back ability. 3. very soft, comfy plush cover; I like the dusty blue color, and the zipper on 2 sides. 4. even the memory foam insert has a zipper cover. Other things to be aware of: the as-mentioned limited instructions don't indicate how long it will take for the squooshed memory foam to expand. I gave it 18 hours and it seemed to be enough. I finally enticed our Sibe to get on the bed, and he stayed for a while. Possibly because of the smell. I'm hoping it will finish out-gassing and he'll come to enjoy it. But if you know Sibes, you know they can be finicky. My understanding is, too, that dogs like the way their beds smell like THEM -- like, don't wash it so often!

Finn, a 75# GSD/Hound mix uses this bed for sleep every night in our bedroom. She also uses it for an occasional nap during the day and seemsvto.like the bed just fine. This bed is the same dimensions and thickness as Finn's old bed as well as the bed currently used by her fur-brother. This orthopedic memory foam bed is much firmer than the one we replaced. We noticed after getting the bed ready for use that over the course of the afternoon and evening, the foam expanded more than we had thought it would. We're looking forward to see, as we move into summer in Northern Colorado, how effective the cooling gel memory and high density bamboo charcoal support foam is at keeping a cool constant temperature. The only minor issue we had was that the white inner cover was placed on the bed inside out! So far we're very pleased with the bed.
