I bought this bed for my 91 pound dog. It said it was orthopedic so I thought it would be thick and hold him up good. He doesn't like the bed. Whenever he tries to sleep in it, he gets up and repositions alot. (He didn't do that with his old bed) So I got in it to see why. You can feel the wood floor underneath. He never did this with his old bed that we ordered from Chewy. This new bed was a waste of my money. So I got out his old bed for him to use again.

Our 5-year-old rescue stepped onto this bed, immediately stepped off, and refused to ever lie down on it. We don't know whether it was the very-palpable egg crate filling, or a scent, or the very fuzzy cover. In any event, it has to go back. Of note, size specs were accurate: it is quite large. It also slides across a hardwood floor with very little resistance: would prefer it be more grippy.

This orthopedic pet bed is one of the better ones I have found. The cushion is not too thick, bulky or heavy, yet thick enough to be soft and comfortable for your fur baby. There was no chemical smell fresh from the package either . The slipcover comes off super simple with just a zipper, the filling/cushion is covered with another safety layer of fabric, so there is no worry about having any loose filling all over.(which you shouldn’t since it’s a solid pad) The cover is a nice soft not too shaggy material, it seems very durable and tough even without be a big are bulky one.,A comfortable addition for your fur babies large or small.2'jmq

Our dog nests almost every time she gets in the bed and usually when she does, fuzz comes off the bed. We have had the bed less than a month and it doesn't seem like it's going to hold up if the material comes off this easily. I called Chewy and told the customer service agent and she gave us a refund, so we are satisfied with the outcome. Would not buy this bed again.

Our 100lb dog fits pretty well on this bed, though it could be a tad bigger for a large dog. He usually prefers the floor and lays his head on a bed, but this one gives him the option to do both. It feels comfortable and soft and standing on it I can’t feel the hardwood under, so it’s the perfect amount of cushion. It took two days to sit out and get to its full size before use.

This is marketed as "XL" but is nowhere near XL. It's more a M-L size. My Rottweiler could maybe curl up on it but definitely cannot spread out. It also does not

This is marketed as "XL" but is nowhere near XL. It's more a M-L size. My Rottweiler could maybe curl up on it but definitely cannot spread out. It also does not grip the floor very well, so she likes to scratch up her bed a bit to make it homey...and it went flying across the floor quickly. The bed is better sized to our smaller sized Husky, who appears to be enjoying it. It's definitely an undersized XL. The top pad is comfy, but not anything to write home about.
